New Grower Starting small to sex plants

I have a question for the experts.
I have been given just a bunch of seeds. I am trying to do a perpetual grow. Problem is I have to sex the plants, and am running 50% male and fem per planting.
This just takes up to much space and dirt and pots. I have seen some use tiered grows with party cups and thought this might be the way to grow the plants till they show sex then pop the fems in a bigger pot. This would save me tons of room.

Question I have, is will I lose on the end?
Anyone with experience I really want to say thanks in advance!!!

A lot of growers use 12 or 16 oz cups for sexing.This works good and when there ready you can cut the bottom of the cup out and stick it in your final pot,or pop the root ball out and transplant like normal.
