When I bought my grow tent the seller had a disclaimer that he applied to the purchase which simply stated that he was not responsible for any misfortunes that may occur while using said product . In other words if you burnt down your house while using the tent with grow lights etc. don't call him . My landlady has expressed her concern about accidents happening ( fire and flooding ) and how it would affect her house insurance if an accident were to happen . We all know how insurance co. love paying claims .
My question ? Has anybody had any problems that resulted in damages in your home or grow area and could you have done something to prevent it or have you taken the necessary precautions now to prevent problems down the road .

Hey Bear,

Yo, you don't have to start a new thread each time you think of something.

These kinds of thoughts can be asked in Live Stoner Gossip, or one of your journals or something.

If you ask questions in your grow journals, more people might respond as well. At least it seems that way to me.

AFN is an OPEN forum. Meaning anyone (over 18) can join. So we have to keep view our data usage responsibly.

Thanks for understanding.

Now, to your question. I have never heard of any lawsuits or anyone ever suing over this kinda stuff.

However, As MJ becomes more accepted, the natural progression of things says to me that it is only a matter of time until it does indeed happen.

Just like anything else, be smart about the electical, and follow all manufacturer's instruction and safety standards.

Sorry EEk but somebody forgot to give me instruction booklet or a rules guide when I joined up and as you can see this conversation was posted under general conversation ?? I'll try to be more carefull the next time I post .

There is a rules of the forum thread in introductions I believe that explains where and how to post. It was very helpful to me so you might want to check it out here is the link it's the Site Terms of Use sticky hope this helps
