I'm kinda clueless.. What does the red envelope mean at the beginning of a thread?

Ok so apparently after so many posts the envelope turns red?..

It means it's a "hot topic"

I pay no attention to the envelopes - if theres a thread i'm interested in i "subscribe" to it so that if anyone posts in that thread it will appear in my "subscribed threads" list (which is the list of threads that appears at the top when you click settings (top right))

How do you subscribe to someone's grow?

Just comment on there grow or reply to something on the grow or simply let them.know you are along for the ride and it will.automatically subscribe you to thread and anytime someone post to the thread it will show up under settings subscribes threads with new comments
