Hey all im new to AFN but have recently been in touch with Stitch, I recieved a few packs of seeds to test one of which was labled Secret Cross. So I decided to start here with these.:D:D:D

I germinated all 5 seeds in a warm paper towel and within 24hrs all five have cracked so hopefully setting in soil this evening.:drool:

I Have built a large room for them to be in and here is my room info.

Custom built room with 5, 5gal pots unknown dimensions right now just kinda pieced it together.
Soil is a mix of Organic happy frog indoor mix, black gold compost and half a bag of bat guanno. Also added some hydroton for an airier mix.
2 of hte 5 gal are smart pots the other three are the 50 cent bags, another little test to see if there is a noticable diference.
Lights- Starting out with a 4ft hydrofarm t5 setup with mixed spectrum lights and as they grow I have a 600w hortilux bulb, and a 250w agro bulb. so light souldnt be an issue here.

This is my third grow and I have a few nutirent additions left over from those I will continue to use and will be purchasing a nutrient base in the next week or so.

Will be posting pics of the room and more details tonight or tomorrow.

Cant wait to hear some feedback:peace::toke:

Hey bud welcome. Best of luck. Head over to the intro section so everyone can gibe you a proper welcome:group:

welcome, lots of great info and ppl here

can i offer you some advice ? if you havent put the seeds into your medium then get that hydroton out of there , it makes for an inconsistant medium , if you ever want an airier soil/soiless use perlite

best of luck and peace

Alright, Ill hand pick as much as I can tonight before I pop em in there, thanks. And thanks for the love everyone Im super excited to get this one going. All I know about these genetics is its a Sative/Indica mix and thats all the info I have, no idea how long there supposed to go or even an expected yeild. So looks like im opening up pandora's box with this one. Also hoping I can find some good pollen around my area to make some babies from this one.

I was just about to suggest removing the Hydroton and replacing it with either Perlite or Vermiculite.

Just be careful of the dust from either as it can be harmful and an irritant!

:peace:

Hey everyone here are a few pics I have from my phone, first of which is hte generoius packs Stitch sent for me to test. I am having a friend grow the 5 purple mazar and 1 auto blue mamoth, I will occasionally post a few pics of those if you guys wont mind.:peace::shrug:

Second pic is a cured nug of jack widow from my last grow. Used 300w of cfls for 2 plants in soil. boy was that stuff delicious.:smokeit:

Third pic is the plants at about 2 weeks sitting on my back porch, they were loving life. I vegged these ladies for 4 weeks outside then flowered them in a box I built.

The fourth and final pic was the dry weight of my smaller plant. every nug was as beautiful as the top colas if you can even call the quarter sized nugs that.

I cant wait to flower under so much light with the genetics im testing. I am borrowing the 600w hood from a friend when I found out the ballast he let me borrow as well is only for 250w so I will have 2 250w mh agro bulbs and the 4ft t5 hydrofarm with mixed spectrum until i can afford the bigger ballast. :dance2::dance2:

More pics to come this evening when ill be putting the ladies in there home for the next 60-90 days. Thanks for tuning in everyone and sorry for the rambling:peace::toke::D

:beast::bone:

Also I have been going around the horn with which nutrient base to use, any veteran have any input on a good 2 or 3 part nutrient? thinking I wont need em for the first week. Let me know what you all think.:shrug:
