New Grower Storms balcony of smile; 2nd grow- bubblelicious, pineapple express, white widow, star ryder

Hi Storm :joint: Oooy,... I'm not sure what's causing this bro',... Symptoms I'm seeing are leaf curlage, chlorotic, maybe little bit necrotic spotting, and some overall yellowing,...yes? No sign of vermin either, especially underneath leaves?.... and of course the pH is a bit low...Hmmmmmm ,.... This is a custom soil mix, right? This is something of an science and an art to do right, and nutrient imbalance and pH issues are common issues that crop up. One of the nice advantages of quality premix's is that they are already dialed in by true sensei's,.... ... if I had to guess, it likely either a nute' deficiency, #1 suspect is Ca (this type spotting is classic),..maybe K (potassium),... and /or (cue the facial tic!) a nute' burn type reaction, not severe but,.. given what you said about moisture issues that's a contender too; remember, that as soil dries up, the relative nute' concentration goes up. If you're already near the edge of what they can take, but showing no outward signs of stress yet, then when it dries too much it's enough to tip the scales the other way.... So, they're starvin' for something or burning with something else! :joint::D:shrug::finger: Hahaaa, I know, lotta fucking help I am!! Seriously though, I'm leanin' toward the Ca deficiency... but that 25% cow-post seems like it may be a bit hot-ish, plus fert's,... :hot: Consult the grow Mod's here about this, definitely, ASAP... fire off a PM to a few of them.... there's no all-fired red alert happening, fortunately,... :toke: I'm curious to see what the Sensei's say,...

ahhh but quality premixes are almost impossible to find where I am, they tend to have slow release ferts and wetting agents, I used similar amount of cow manure compost in last grow and it didn't seem to cause problems and I am of the belief if it was to hot symptoms would have showed earlier, as seedlings they were a picture of perfect health, and symtoms all began after a heavy watering with half strength magic grow wich is an organic feed.
one thing I didn't mention is when all started going wrong was during a hot spell with very hot and humid outside temps, I was leaning towards sulpha deficiency as they stuggle to take this on in hot temps and symptoms were mainly lime green new leaves starting inside working there way out, but then the dots have come up, maybe they are 2 separate issues and although I haven't seen any real pest activity it could be possible.
I will foliar spray them tonight with a very light feed with some Epson saults and see what effect this might have

:stir:oh the trials of mixed mediums. Maybe back off on the cfl light for a bit and mist leaves with water when lights out. I often lose the first set of leaves, maybe if the second but as long as the third and forth have set themselves up well they hang in there. Hoping yours pull through today!

Which was the all coco potted strain and hows that going? coco is great, nothing in it till you put something in it. COMPLETE CONTROL MUHAHAHA *cough cough*

sweet cheese is all coco and so far so good, the pineapple express is in the same soil as the bubble and the widow and so far so good
the newer leaves look like they have shown some improvement and newer leaves are starting to grow so growth looks like its still going well
addeded a very light dose of Epson saults to tonights foliar feed
tomorrow might use some bug spray just incase the brown dots are from insects, I think that is the most likely cause of those

Sounds like they are recovering and moving onwards and upwards!:check:

I'll be watching the coco and Cheese:pop:

Hey bro' how are the gals looking now? You say some there's no further decline in health, or worsening symptoms? Yeah, certainly check for bugs too,.. but those type of spots don't smack of bug bites to my eye,... the trouble with early deficiency symptoms is there are often overlaps between which nutrient is lacking, and nobody wants it to progress so far as to let the symptoms become definitive! Your right about the soil if you've experience with your custom mix,... regardless, I hope they're improving! .... I finally started my grow thread! please, drop in and check it out.... thanks!

bubblelicious has recovered well and has kicked into a growth spurt........ and SHE sprouted some pistals over night
pics coming tomorrow

How's it all coming along there storm? haven't had an update in a while. Hope all is well:wiz: Karma thrown at you trying to get your attention!
