Hey AFN!
A big thanks in advance for any help! Hope your all doing well.
-Problem: Strange leaf growth, also affecting new growth, looks a bit like possible nute burn aswell
-Medium/grow method: Ugro Coco
-Feed and supplements used: HY-PRO A and B 2mls from each per litre of water. (two fifths the recommended dose), Plant magic + Magnesium and Cal with micro nutrients 0.5ml per litre of water (half recommended dose), Grow up roots root stimulant 0.25ml per litre of water (full recommended dose), Gen control 200 Ortho Silicium 1.5ml per litre water (full recommended dose) include brand, Watering feeding everyday
-Water source: Tap water thats been left sitting for 24 hours
-Strain and age. Critial + Photo sensitive Not Auto 23 days old
-Climate: MAX/MIN temp 25-15 degress, RH between 45 and 70
- Light used: Metal Halide 600w, light cycle hours 18/6distance to tops....60 cm
-Additional info: Problems started 2 days ago since then they've just received plain ph'd water
Any Info on what this is and whats causing it would be great.
Peace & Love

MG- what are the NPK #'s on those fert's? Do you measure EC or TDS (ppm's)? What's the pH of your nutrient solution? ..In-pot pH needs to be watched too,... coco like it around 6.0 generally,.... do you feed to about 15-20% run-off? Coco is not a soil, and can't be treated like it is, or troubles will come! ..you water, is it hard? Again, pH and EC/ppm is important to know especially with coco,... without this info, it's all guess work, and fixing it will be difficult and risky,... do the wrong thing and matters will get worse, not better,... That said, I'd say something is off with either the coco itself, or the pH is off,... the leaf distortion could be a couple things, but with the other symptoms, I'd say it's looking like a bit of K toxicity,.. too much K will interfere with other cation uptakes, like Ca, Mg, micronutrients,.. Ca is essential for cell walls/membranes and if that's being blocked, young tissues may start to distort....if you're not doing significant run-off, nutes can accumulate,...( never use water alone in coco either, BTW, it will screw up the coco's CEC buffering (cation exchange capacity), causing further issues),... Also, coco has a lot of native K in it, and depending on the brand quality, it may not have been rinsed and prep'ed enough,... Another clue is in the run-off EC/ppm's, to compare what's coming out to what's going in, and show what amount of accumulations are happening,...
