Hey AFN. I think my plants need more nutrients, but I am afraid of over feeding although stunting from underfeeding is nearly as bad. It is 1 week since they have popped heads up and my two auto's are less than 1" tall and have only started showing the second set of leaves. I think I may be underfeeding. They are looking mildly yellow. Here are some shots.

Should I be stepping up my nutrients faster than I am? Are these signs of deficiencies? I have never grown autos and it is hard to figure out quite how much to feed these babies but I am sure my plants should be a lot healthier and bigger than they are at 1 week above ground. Thanks in advanced!

:peace: budz

I would not feed them yet there to young. They are slow the first week or so but they will kick in shortly.Try to keep your temp around 80 during lights on.The seedling needs warm soil.I would not feed them for another ten to fourteen days. There should be enough nutes in the mix to keep them going until then.:smokebuds:

I agree with namvet, :group:patience my friend, they never grow fast enough for me either:rofl:

I was under the impression that coco is nutrient-less and requires mild nutes to start and should be treated more like Hydro than Soil. Every Coco grow I've read on here starts with mild nutes. I've heard of some bumping up to 1.2 EC by week 2. This is nutrient-less soil-less medium. Is the yellowing not a problem?

Yes, as far as I know you're right. Coco is like Hydro or Hempy. You'll need to start nutes earlier. I have never grown in coco, but I am almost positive. Someone else will chime in if I am off. :D

The yellowing is an issue for some reason or another. This early is hard to say though. Just noticed you're using a Blackstar. How close do you have that beast to the seedlings?
Nevermind, see it now. I suggest backing it up to 24". It kinda looks like bleaching to me. Kinda. Maybe not.:D
