NEWS Successful talks in Maryland

Great news for Maryland!! State officials from Washington state and Colorado payed a visit to Annapolis Maryland where they discussed the success of legalizing marijuana.

According to reports, this was a successful meeting and Maryland officials are pressing for legalization.

As of now Maryland does not have medical marijuana laws but possession of 10 grams or less is a civil offense, no longer criminal. Which imo is very distasteful and reflects the money hungry agenda of these politicians. They realize the war on drugs will no longer be accepted by the people but still manage to squeeze a few bucks out of a harmless pot toker.

No coincidence that marijuana is all the sudden not dangerous for the people when they realize how much money they can be made legalizing it. What happened to marijuana causing black men to rape white women?

What legalization means to me: hmmmm maybe I'll take up growing

Sorry you find the de-criminalizing of small amounts to be distasteful. I like to think that at least you won't have a record. The draconian laws and the way they could have ruined your life were, heck still are just to hideous to contemplate. I for one am happy that my state has at least the medical program. Although not ideal, it is a move in the right direction. If monetary gain is the hypocrisy that brings about legalization and my permission to grow my own, well I think I can live with it (as long as it is not to heinous.
So let's go Maryland, legalize it!!

I guess that's a good way to view the situation. And i agree some type of legalization is better then none, it just rubs me the wrong way they legalize x amount BUT when we see you with it, we like 100 dollars please.

when I think of legalization I think of plants growing in my yard right next to my tomatoes and my peppers. as many as I want any kind of want give it to I want get it from you I want, whatever. But i guess were headed there
