Outdoor Super auto outdoor guerilla grow. 2012

Excited to see some pics and I keep my fingers crossed for you! A sweet 1,5 ºC here this morning, freezing at work a few km's away:crying: Let's hope the warmth come soon and that this summer gets better than last years!

59N: It has been pretty cold here at night too. But not under 5-6 degrees C, thank you god. :)

Update.

I test planted two of my tallest and strongest Nirvana Sky´s about 1-2 weeks ago, and they are thriving. I think it´s true what they say about autos, that they are more cold resistant then photos. These didn´t even seem to notice that it was cold out. :) Maybe they don´t grow as much vertically as they wore going to if they wore grown indoors. But the stems are getting thinker.

I carried a shovel out into the woods, and hid it under a "christmas tree" one day before the planting, and when the time came to start digging i couldn´t find the shovel. :crying: I hid it so well that not even i could find it. :( So right now the garbage bags with the soil are just sitting on the ground. I have to get a new shovel. I am thinking of buying one of those foldable ones. It´s much lighter and easier to carry, and much much more discreet. We´ll see.

Anyways... the ones i have outside don´t have a fence yet. And i don´t think i am going to put one up either. I just pee on the ground around the plants when i´m there and checking on them, and it seems to help. There haven´t been any deers or other pests there (yet). I am thinking of starting to collect my urin in bottles so i always have enough make a strong predator odour. No slugs either, but i am going to wrap the stems with copper wire proactively so i can keep the slimey, nasty things away in the future.

The rest are moving out tomorrow if the rain stops. I am going to take some pics tomorrow.

Good luck to all you other growers on all different lats. Keep up the good work. :)

/H.

Nice to hear its going well! The weather forecast here says below 10 degrees for at least two more weeks ahead, so I'm impatiently waiting to start my grow. As long as the grow can be started around june 1st there should be plenty of time for me to finish :booya:
I'm going to use urine to scare off deer etc. at my spot as well. For the slugs I have bought some chemicals, I have read some places that MJ plants react to copper. Don't know this for sure I have to admit, but chemicals seems like the best option anyways. I'm putting bone- and blood meals in my soil so I hope badgers and foxes don't dig up my plants. The worst pest is ofc humans, and the only option I can see there is guns. I'm not going that far though hehe:howdy:
Keep us updated, excited about this one:jump:

The weather on my side sucks too.. 9-15ºC... The weather report dosnt look good for a long time..

I hope I can put my girls outside 1 of june as I wrote in the message to you.. Subbed to this :pop:

59: Yes, they react to copper. I use it when i do LST:ing becouse the plant tend to grow "away" from the copperwire. Luckely slugs also react to copper. Even more.

If you can get your hands on chestnuts you can smash them and grind them up. The slug will eat it and die. I haven´t tried this, but i read a study on it, and it should work.

I am also very exited. And i think that there really should be more journals on the super autos. It´s a shame that there aren´t more of them. That´s why i wanted to write this one to show others before they try them. From what i´ve seen so far, it´s all positive.

Zaq: You are going to be fine. You know what you are doing from what i have seen. And if (god forbid) anything goes wrong this season, you know what not to do next year. There is always a light in the darkness. You know that saying, right?

Good luck m8´s. /H.

Ps. I hope i can get out this evening and snap a few. Do anyone know of a safe place where i can upload the pics?

Allright. Here´s some pictures of the Nirvana Sky´s i took two days ago. I have lost my shovel so i haven´t dug them down yet. But i don´t think it is something to worry about (knock on wood).

These have been out for about a month, and i think they have been stunted from the cold but they are still alive.

The weaather have been getting better lately. 22 degrees C here now, and 56 RH%

I will post some pics of the Annapurnas tomorrow too.

Have a great day! :/ /H.

the 3º is flowring? looks liked.
good look bro.

All of them are kind of flowering. Preflowering. But the third plant are not topped, and the first two have been topped in week 2. She´s beautiful, right? :)

One thing i have noticed when you are growing outside is that the (pre)flowers doesn´t show as much as they would do indoors. The hairs aren´t showing as much.
Is there anybody else that also have noticed this?

/H.

Ok, new update.

I was out this morning and carried the last bag in so i can plant my Number 1 and two Annapurnas. Then i decided to go to the Nirvana Sky´s to see how they wore doing, and give them some lime. I took some pics. This is four days after the other pictures i posted earlier. The weather the last couple of days have been excellent, and they have streched a bit. Summer is finaly here! :) Zaq, you know what i´m talking about. :)

This one is my favorite. She´s beautiful, right? :)

You can really see the sativa in her.

Look where i have topped her. They are three times taller then in the other picture. It´s 4 days between.

So that´s that. catch u on the flipside. /H.

I almost forgot. I would like your input. :)

I am looking for a nice Typhoon male that i can cross with one or more strains that cres sent me. He sent me 6 different strains, and i am not sure which of High Rise strains will be best. I am thinking that i maybe will make seeds on all of them, but i want to concentrate on just one specific cross. I am thinking that Early Guerilla Skunk x Typhoon, Guerilla Pearls x Typhoon and/or (Mighty Durban S2 x African Mighty Durban) x Typhoon can be cool. But who knows?

I live in Sweden at 56 degrees north lat and the climate can be kind of rough here from time to time. My goal is to make a nice "strain" that just i am going to grow and that works up here. After a bit of work i aim for a good yeilder that is not that tall. I don´t want them to stand out when they grow outdoors. Good mold resistance, or really good resistance overall. :)

Is it a bad idea to maybe cross a Typhoon with a super auto? They are feminized so they carry hermie genes even if they are females, right?

Have a great day. :) /H.
