I have a super box from super closet want to covert the 200 watt clf to led dont know what to get thinking of blackstar need to keep my temps down abd get better light thinking ufo any advise would be helpful thanks
blackstars are sweet. vick at gotham hydro will probably give you a solid deal - he's well known and has a good reputation. he's out of new york I believe.
The ms-0004 from grow northern is also the bees knees, but it's slightly more expensive and it ships from the uk. It's a major upgrade from 80-90% of the lights out there, so you're definitely getting a well made product... just pricey.
BSLED also has some nice lights for micro growers. Check them out as well.
Only 30 inches tall? I'd be scared to buy a larger LED panel and accidentally harm your plants. An MS0006 would be great for an 24x24 area, but I would think you'd need more room to raise it. I'm going to wait for more experienced growers to chime in.
Yeah only 30 inches tall actually with the light and everything I get about 17 inches with this new light I should get a few more inches out of it instead of the big bulky 200 watt CFL I have grown photos in there but I have not tried an autoflower yet I had to LST tge crap out of her but made it throw I am looking to grow some shorter autos in there and see what it turns out life I just would like to have a better life and such a small box heat is a little bit of an issue but not too bad I can grow up to 8 plants that are very small but I'm planning on doing two decent size autos and maybe scrogging them or just super cropping I don't think it's super cropping would be a good idea since the cycle was so small I am looking at a le it is called Blue it is a UFO with a full spectrum it is 150 watts it says it will do a two by two area I just don't know if it's any good or not I looked at the Black Stars and also the ones that were on the link I can get a blue for about $180 I just don't know which one to go with I've also been looking at the Black Stars 135 watt UFO
Gradolabs is more of a lighting expert, so i can only agree with his knowledge. I would also be concerned about not having enough head room (ceiling height) for an LED panel.
There was a grower here using small LEDs in a small space like yours and did well - i'll try and find the link as i think he may have got a BOM NOM for it.
