Lighting SupergrowLed, GiantLed, and wellparLed LED Grow lights

I don't test the umols, it's just what I'm told the umols are. Each to their own with what lights they like using but I'm having an awesome success rate with LEDs, so I'm giving up my hps.

Maybe you're measuring lumens or candles?
Ppfd is average measurement of par photons in a square meter area.

Technology doesn't need belief to work as it does, and measurements should be done properly in order to be precise, meaningful and relevant.
And so far no available data can support your claims on such ppfd from your leds.
I also use leds(full spectrum) because i invested enough time in research to find the best option for my lightning needs.
I would chose de hps for large scale regardless of led atvantages for small scale.

Like I said each to there own, I did research and found a lot of LEDs a hoax, these work, I can see that by my results in plants, so I don't really need to know the par or lumens, even though the lumens are quite high. My results with my plants tell me I'm using the right lights [emoji2] I did like our convo though, gives me more to research [emoji4] thanks

There's a lot off stuff if you google them for cannabis reviews, I wouldn't do it.

If he chooses the right LEDs there is no way HPS would be more efficient than LEDs.

Depends on what your up front cost that you are willing to buy with.
Yes I agree the ones he mentioned are crap. The spiders I use are 12.3umol/watt

How are you getting this number?

How are you getting this number?
Yes it is cause my lil grow of 900w of top quality led cost well over 2500$ just in lights

The cost can be much lower if you build your lights from top parts, also the overall performance can surpass commercial lights.
In the end plants are always the best judges, but from a buyer's perspective it's so important to know a few basics to avoid bad products and wrong numbers. Some are more lucky than others so yeah, kind of to each their own.

So sauce I agree the up front cost with LEDs can be huge but these lights have a 50,000hrs running time, that's like 11yrs for my cycles. I don't have to replace bulbs after every crop. So yep peeps need too decide what they want to outlay.

Ok all finished. 5 plants grown under a Spider 6 COB LED 540w, but actual draw-age only 300w. Plants got that big the track was taken out of roof of the tent to lift light up. The last week had two additional Spider 1 COB LED 90w actual draw-age 50w on the floor angling into the canopy. Bloody awesome outcome for power draw-age, compared to if I used a HPS lighting system. LED Technology rocks, no one can tell me any different after these trials has excelled my expectations [emoji7]
