Hello, the purpose of this forum is to find out if anyone has ordered any of these LED grow lights in hopes of finding out if they're worth buying.
I'm in the market for some decent LED grow lights, but can't afford the outrageous price tags of such lights as the ones from these companies that charge over 1k for 900-1200 watts, (Because I want to buy around 8-10 1200w units) So I did a bit of digging on YouTube, Ebay, Google and found some mid priced options such as named above. (Price range $150-300 for 900w-1200w)
They range from 3w diodes to 10w diodes. I'm not very familiar with the science behind all of this, so decided to ask my go to experts here at AFN.
Has anyone tried any of these? I did a search on here and didn't find anything. Did I do it wrong? If so show me the way someone, please? If not, please give input?

I would get the green reflector series from mars or look at amare 150w which are very good n platinum are great to

The 10 Watt double you posted first didnt look that great and i havent heard of any of those besides wellpar. Have you seen the
Vipar Leds? i heard good things about those and will be ordering some myself soon!

This lights a Spider 6. Power 540w actual power is 300w, but doing amazing over these plants. So yes LEDs do work but not all LEDs. Cree or epistar COB seem to be the better ones.

@OP
The leds you posted are not worth buying in my opinion.
Instead for a big room(you said several units) my pick would be DE HPS bulbs.
Still more efficent than these old tech leds.

The ones he was mentioning are far from the 'right leds' for top efficency, he would have to build his own leds for top eff.
And it would likely still cost more than a DE setup.

Few leds give more than 2umols/W of par light as DEs do.

Yes I agree the ones he mentioned are crap. The spiders I use are 12.3umol/watt
