Well started a Supersonic crystal storm from Samsara seeds. It split the seed but has not broke surface yet. I wanted to start some photos around now but am having too much fun with the autos and don't want to go that long between harvests. Don't have pictures yet. Will post when it breaks the surface. I think the next one after this is going to be a Northern lights automatic from Royal queen seeds. For you that are new and not following some of my other grows I am trying to figure out how to grow autos with a layered mix. I am vegging in a #2 nursery pot tell around day 25 lately, Depends on the plant could be as early as week 3 or as late as week 4. I only add water the whole grow. Every thing I need is in my mix.

The veg pot for this plant is 1 bag of roots organic with 1/2 of a #1 nursery pot full of steer manure, 1/4 cup of lime and 1/8 cup of green sand. The green sand was an a mistake. I was suppose to add it to my bloom mix and messed up. I will be modifying this later with probably 1/3 #1 nursery pot of manure and 3 table spoons of lime. The red dwarf grows fine in the mix I have now but dose have a little bit of nitrogen toxicity and other plants don't always like it.

I start in #2 nursery pot and finish in a #15 nursery pot. The #15 nursery pot holds a total of about 1 bag of soil. Each #15 pot is filled 50/50 with the veg and bloom mix. I still have to buy some bags of roots to mix up my bloom mix and will post what I mix up, to be continued...

You have my attention yet again Joe! Subbed in bud.

Well dam might be late to get a picture up as I have been way busy. Worked a lot of hours this week and then left town. I got 2 bags of soil today but left them at my mother in laws house. Would be nice to have some soil cooking right now but have to wait tell next week at which point I will be able to get more bags. Can never have to many on hand as I have to drive over 100 miles to get them and only pick them up when visiting family.

Holy crap, at that distance you can't have enough. Are you in a rural area, or is it just that particular soil that is so far away? Man when you move to Alaska your going to have too look in to closed loop gardening. It takes some work, but in my opinion, it is the superior way to do organic gardening. Alaska has some great natural resources from what I have read, but have never been there, so who knows...

Ya its just this soil. I live in a town of about 20,000 so its not super small but I like roots organic soil and no one around here has it. When I go to Alaska I have a pretty good idea of how I want to do things and am excited about making my soil when I move. I think my Alaska soil will be just as good. I am not past ordering a pallet of something if I need it when I live there though.

We usually ship a pallet up when we visit Seattle after our fishing season. The makeup will be different next time after what I've been learning here in this forum.... I found it hard to get everything I wanted by mail. Amazon free shipping helps, but some things just won't come that way.

I just had 4 duds from Samsara Seeds through Midweek Song. This was with documented proper germination, germ dome with document correct temp and humidity. I went 0-3 with Supersonic Cristal Storm (Black Dom).

I am new, but other than Samsara from Midweek Song, out of 20 seeds, I have had just 1 other not pop.

I did have 2 Samsara Shot Adrenaline (Original Skunk) pop.

I am curious to see your Supersonic Cristal Storm develop. This was going to be my night time smoke. My "Big Low" is doing fine and will work for this.

So the mix I have my red dwarf in is off and to rich. I am also going to be putting a cheese XXL in this mix cuz its all I have on hand. I am going to try a much lighter mix next batch. The amount of mushroom compost I used was too much on top of me using a lot of nutrients. I am thinking my next bloom mix will be much simpler. 1/4 cup bat guano, 1/4 cup bone meal, 1/4 cup kelp meal and 1/4 cup lime. The next veg mix will be 1/3 of a #1 pot full of manure and 3 table spoons of lime. The good thing about over feeding with organcis this way as long as your nutrients are balanced is the plant once over fed slows down root growth and the overfeeding is less than using bottled nutrients.
