Day 7

Im really having a nightmare with growing at the moment. The same problem keeps happening and Iv lost around 6 weeks of growing time, not to mention numerous seeds through trying to find what the problem is.
Basically what keeps happening is growth slows to a near stop, and my plants go limp and a really light green, with the last one shrivelling up and turning brown. Through a series of trial and error Iv eliminated certain things. First I swapped my new lights to my old one as I thought that was the problem but no, the problem persisted. Second thing I did was bin the bag of new coco I'd bought to see if there was any difference, but again the problem persisted.
Today at work I suddenly thought 'you've been using silicon in these past few grows' so I'm now just feeding plain water for a week to see if there's any difference. Failing that I must have a bug infestation or something, but I hope it's the silicon causing it and not bugs.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening when feeding silicon?

Iv lost too much grow time to give up on this one, hopefully feeding plain water will have some effect. I'll see if there's any improvement when I get in from work

Had my eyes in this strain. Blueberry x skunk x white widow sounds like a sweet killer! Vision seeds from what I seen do great work good luck bro!

Hi T.T.T. Did you happen to use Miracle Grow Perlite or some other boosted brand? Maybe just too much initial nute for such young plants. Also could be residual from your last run?

No it was just plain old perlite that Iv used on previous grows. I always give a really light feed this early on but this issue has killed 3 different strains. I'v not changed my method of growing from since I started growing, iv just added bits and tweaked here and there which is what's lead me to believe it's the new addition to my nute lineup that's the cause of the problem. Anyway I'll check on her when I get home and hopefully there's an improvement. :peace:
