Lighting T5 10,000k

I was messing around this morning on E-Bay and found some T5 bulbs that claim to be 10,000K finishers...Was anyone heard/tried these and is there any bennies to using them?

10,000K bulbs are typically used in salt water aquariums to help the symbiotic algae in coral to flourish. At that color temp there should be a fair amount of UVB present so they might help in final week or 2 to promote trichome development but I would not use them for any longer than that.

Thanks oldster...I did see that they are used as you say..There was a few other light color temps that was listed also..But Haven't seen or read anything on AFN about them.I'll probly say with my 6500K and 3000K bulbs...

I run a 12 lamp Quantum Badboy t5 fixture.
10 lamps I run @ 6400k and 2 lamps @ 10,000k+uvA.
I run them the entire life of the plants.
You can see the specs HERE.
I use them as I try to replicate the natural environment I live in here in Colorado.
I can move my plants(canna and veggies) outdoors into direct sunlight with no ill effect.
No hardening off required.
May not work for everyone but my result have been pretty good.

I also running T'5s 8 4 footers I have 4 veg and 4 bloom in there so I can get both light specs the whole grow but was wonder'N would I get a better yield with a 600 watt hid ?

I have two T5s now size here .owner thought they needed ballast i got friday.. also i retrieved data for his n hers macs and he runs mi nuttes store..after numerous attempts and extremely high prices. .he gave up toll other day..i told him i look. He says how much.. told him..its no guarantee. .i says others said they can get it back a certain %..nicely told him they are fukin liers.you never tell customers that you can get back data.. in proper format.. not a cluster of disarray. .so he says we can split part and any items.. he didnt think it could be done.. o thats when i told him i do mi best.. brought mac back ..had the fakeout face .. his look .. then i said turn it on .. might see the screen atleast... then he was ☺.. mi real cool. Like yeah his girls going be happy. . Retreived %98.5 of data art work .. office stuff etc... so i said i take a few. Well T5 4x2 8 bulb cuaght mi eye.he said it was broke ballast. . I said why waste it sitting he says $30 i said $10 we settled just where i wanted $20.. i got one light .. took home was trying get mi electrician guys one too look at it..well i had his 500 gig ex drive broke. Fiixed it ..took it to him.. we chat etc etc.itss another T5 in box he says has same problem. .and 8 ballast anothet part of the story.. well we didnt even haggle.. $20 ..when he got home his gal most have laid it on him.she had bern trying 6 months to get that data back..so he give other T5 today n 8 dimmable ballast.. free ..come home also i have his other macbook pro. .after not gettiing electric guy sort mi out..i took the on in box. Pluged it up and

i was like then i said wth...lets give other a shot. Side note on first one, i did test on right and left 4,powered up both sides ✔..x #2 just one side

i have two T5s 8tube 4x8s model UG-T5-4X8 for $40 quick check pricing average $250 per new

and 8 dimmable ballast.. make ultragrow its 5 yr warranty hmmm... whats best lights i want mix them ..will run them separate and in tandem with mi 1200 watt leds have two got one free. One 600 watt hps, one 300 watt led..o and i got a 6 inch hurricane 475 inline $70 with controller, and i 4x4 bitonicare tray still at store .. i want to, makea table drain..underbottom run 300led for baby's while top runs leds. Possibly angle T5s on side for canopy depth heres tent 4x4..side note i could care less about the model for that price i luv them..just want get best grow n bloom lights .heres tent as a stated i do alot of testing, learning, diag. Ideas etc. You goota experience experiment its the tech in mi......
