Take a look and let me know what you think might be causing this to occur randomly on the top of leaves. When touched, this substance feels almost sticky and has a definite green pot smell to it. If left alone, it isn't there the next morning. Almost like the leaf is 'sweating'. Humidity in grow box is stable between 35-45rH. Temps are running 75-85deg F. It is given water then FF Grow Big nutes alternating every 2 days. It is in FFOF soil. Light schedule is 18/6... 6x 23w CFL's kept 5-7 inches above top canopy. 24/7 circulation and exhaust fans w/passive air intake.

:shrug:It does look like it's sweating, and I don't know why this is happening.I don't think it will hurt anything so I wouldn't worry to much.Maybe someone else can help.

Hey Fellas, it sort of reminds me when 2 leaves overlap and you got condensation as for it beig sticky its a bit of a mystery but i recall seeing this sort of effect on a friends ting when there were bugs on the underside of one leaf and they secreted something which fell onto leaves below, but they seem well mate so wouldnt worry, but ever vigilant, best of luck.
bless

That's a new one on me as well. Keep an eye on it and maybe take a magnifying glass and check both sides of the leaves for any pests.

Yea, well, if it disappears before morning, then no worries!

Good healthy green colour! Those leaves have a lovely complexion.

I agree with dosse posse---that's exactly what my leaves look like when they overlap on each other, and like yours, the wetness is gone by the next day.

Why fertilize/nute every 2 days?
Less is more...

In this case, the leaves that have this 'sweat' on them are on the top of the canopy with no other leaves overlapping on them. More curious than worried... as this is one healthy growing biatch! :D

Checking top and bottom leaf surfaces and found no pests. Only pests I've had to deal with was three gnats many, many weeks ago. Killed them little suckers on sight and haven't seen any since.

I guess no worries... this 'sweat' is always gone the next day. I think it must be 'manna' from the canna-gods!

Because of the small container I am growing her in along with the grow box size, I have to water every 2 days. I haven't seen any adverse reaction to giving her nuted water every 4 days, so have continued to do this for the past 4 weeks. I don't see the advantage to not giving her nutes once every 4 days... curious minds need to be fed... enlighten us! ;)
