One of my seedlings has been above soil for over a day with its shell and it doesnt look like it will come over. Its dry to I was wondering the best way to do it yourself?

What I would do, is spray it with some water and get it moist, and grab some tweezer, and gently peel it off.:smokebuds: ATTN: Be Careful:thumbs:

Im not sure if thats possible....I just sprayed it though. Its not like its just hanging there.....both sides are split open but im not sure it has the strength to push its 2 leafs out...

Another question....one seedling is like 3 inches and another is like 1......no clue why. Could I add more spoil so its not as stretched?

Maybe different genetics:shrug:

If you still have room in your pot you could. When I plant, I try to fill the soil up to the top anyway, the more soil, the more the roots can roam and grow, ya know:smokebuds: best of luck.

Ya I got about a inch left to fill up....it settled even more after I initially watered it.

Update: I got the shell off....but instead of light yellow or green the leaves are kinda white lol.

Hopefully she will sprout nice for you, glad to hear you were able to get the shell off:dance: those can be a pain sometimes:smokebuds:

Next time, plant them a little deeper. I used to plant mine 1/4" and often had the same problems. Now I plant them 1/2" and this never happens anymore. That extra 1/4" keeps them under the soil, and moist, longer so the shells come off easier.
