Tavosvo's high brix Northern Lights auto

Soil's gonna get cooked at grow room temps, so that should be fine. Debating building a serious LST/scrog frame on a big hard pot or just doing mild LST on a smaller smart or air pots. Plenty of time to think, my seedlings are at 2 sets of leaves and im only running clones of photos atm. I figure 8 weeks and I should be ready to put rooted clones into a well cooked high brix mix...

i like the scrog frame, but due to the foliar spraying ive abandoned that idea and will be going with mild LST as well. id like to be able to pull the girls out for inspection, spraying and the occasional root soak :)

pics this afternoon!

Im still reading his stuff ..got through some of it..I think go witht he largest pot you can..The more I read the more I see that the roots will fill the pot so the drenches will continue to work better with the more roots it can effect in a wide area . Might be something to think about for next time..Im seeing autos done in 10gal smart pots and booming!:stylez rasta smoke:

You got it. Bigger pots FTW. In hindsight my pot is too small for outdoors, but if I can keep the soil energy up I think it will be alright :smokeit:

Lets see...Germ on 7/3. Showed sex on 7/23. Significant pistils at all bud sites by 8/5, so "bloom" began first week of the month. Gave it a "transplant" (reproductive organic fish nutrient drench) feeding at that point. Things coasted along just water for the next week, then I hit it with "energy" (growth/calcium nitrate in fish fert base). It was the 19th and buds were starting to form so I gave it the cationic drench. Things really took of from there!

Here we are a week or so later....

Things are looking better everyday! Super dense already! Shiny leaves! No bugs!!!!! That's one of the best parts of high brix growing - bugs don't bother her one bit! My previous outdoor grow has aphids, spider mites, thrips, you name it! This one no no no nothing slows her down! I saw a spider mite and a little web on my otherwise perfect looking plant, brushed the web away and shoo'd the spider and voila no more bugs hahahaha! Got some leaf miners that like to chomp on the old fans but it doesn't seem to matter very much lol!

Yea looking good..Im finding if you dont get the right type auto strains made for outdoor they get a bit leafy..have you noticed this?..im sure its to due with sunlight hrs.:stylez rasta smoke:

I'm loving the uniform color of your stems, the whole "neato purple stem" thing is 99% environmental/soil in many grow logs I see on the internet, some kind of deficiency. I think it's telling that your soft tissues and stems are uniformly green and shiny, the picture of health!

Well, I'm the worst journal keeper around.

However, I am here now and I have pics to share!

I'd say a week or so and she'll be ready to chop!

Enjoy!

And in standard Tavosvo fashion, pics are all screwy and sideways or upside down. Please smoke a big bat and then view, maybe it won't matter that much if baked.

Buds look awesome, what do you attribute the leaf damage to? I'm on the precipice of starting my own Doc Bud kit journal in here, wanted to hear your thoughts now that you're at the end of it all.

high!
nice buds!
ice job mate
As low&slow, would like to hear as well...
Peace!

well, there were some leaf miners... but thats not the damage we are speaking of right?

i really wish i knew.

i feel like she getting old and ditching her fan leaves, and thats that. it doesnt really matter at this point i suppose. bud leaves are still nice and green and shiny. some are starting to pale..harvest is near.

any thoughts on your guys end?

As for the kit. im psyched. its real easy. i love to foliar feed my girls its nice.
she look real nice so far, i had no bug problems besides the leaf miners, which didn't slow her down as far as i could tell.

i got some new beans cant wait to pop them in the kit soil!
