Lighting Telos Driver Heat

Hi 11 days in to first run under the telos 008 (previous HPS 250 + 400)

So far so good. But would like to be able to drop temp a degree or two in the tent for warmer days.

currently have driver fixed to the light version...

Has anyone got the remote driver who can confirm the driver is producing quite a bit of heat?

it’s hard to tell, as it’s fixed above the heat sink, so prone to pick up heat from the light.

will order the cable from telos if it might drop the temperature a degree or two.

I have the remote driver version, and the driver get pretty warm. Not like you'd burn your fingers/hand but still..

It think that moving the driver our side my cabinet dropped the Temps for about 2-5 Celsius degrees.. Not much, but noticeable..

Great info thanks. Even 2 degrees would be great.
given the environment they’re designed to be in, almost seems a bit odd they’d put the driver on the light.
Will order the power cable extension
