New Grower Temperature not high enough?

More practical idea.
I think your original idea to reduce the hot air from the duct in will work. I have a speed controller on my exhaust. The issue is I have to have my exhaust super high because when the furnace kicks on my tent almost exploded from all the air coming in. I think if I reduce the input I can lower the exhaust. If I can lower the exhaust the warm air will stay in the tent longer when furnace is off. That in theory will stabilize the temps.

I think that makes sense? Doesn't it?

Sounds logical to me.

Would that be a warm air heating duct?

If so, that air will be quite dry, watch your humidity.

Canna is fairly hardy and most will grow at those temps although 75-85f seems to be optimal.

A relavely low cost footprint would be a 55w(ish) tube heater (like for in a green house)

They're prettuy cheap and dont eat the electricity

Put it by your pots to keep the roots warmer.

Hope this helps
All the best

edit: whoops - didn't see the part about not wanting a heater! :D

I'm in the same boat with the temps - thought about adding big ass cfls for side lighting, but went with the easier tube heater option in the end.

May i ask how much a tube heater added temp wise? And how big a space?

There's a lot of varietals. I run the 150w (ish) ones in 1 x x1 x2 m tents with insulation and constant ventilation, 1 tube heater will increase the average temp inside the tent by 2-3c. I have one on the air intake that supplies both my tents and one in each tent.

Yes it actually helped with my humidity. I did have to unhook it though it was to much air. I vented the air flow to slow it down seems to be working now. Only major mess up was my intake feel over and was blowing directly on my airpot for a plant. Dried it out in a few hours, but the plant came back around.
