I think your original idea to reduce the hot air from the duct in will work. I have a speed controller on my exhaust. The issue is I have to have my exhaust super high because when the furnace kicks on my tent almost exploded from all the air coming in. I think if I reduce the input I can lower the exhaust. If I can lower the exhaust the warm air will stay in the tent longer when furnace is off. That in theory will stabilize the temps.More practical idea.
I think that makes sense? Doesn't it?
