Hello fellow growers!

I am experiencing some nasty problems with my darlings. They were doing just fine until some time ago, when they developed some nasty symptoms. The mixture I use is 60% organic soil, 20% vermiculite, 10% perlite, 10% coco fiber. Everything was store bought, which, I understand, was a rookie mistake, but I am already in this like so, so, please, keep the comments constructive. Anyways check this out:

2013-02-07_17-04-49_270.jpg The strain is Northern Lights, dominant Indica. I am pretty sure this is zinc deficiency, but I can not be sure, and I don't want to act on impulse, before I consult a senior grower. What do you think?

2013-02-07_17-05-06_282.jpg Critical Jack, Sativa. I just don't know what to make of this one... It's terrible and now the yellowing has spread to the other leaves, I think I am loosing her. Help!

2013-02-07_17-05-21_802.jpg Same one

2013-02-07_17-05-27_330.jpg Same again

2013-02-07_17-05-35_732.jpg Sweet Coffee Ryder. I love this one. This might be PH related, although I don't see why, I've been pretty careful with the PH stuff since the other one fell ill. Looks like high PH to me, but still - spare a word on this one as well.

2013-02-07_17-05-48_242.jpg S.A.S. This one developed some PH problems, which were resolved just in the knick of time, but it still got scarred pretty badly. Poor thing...

2013-02-07_17-05-56_898.jpg S.A.S. This is the same one, but I don't think this is PH related. From what I can guess it is something zinc related, but I can not be sure. Give some feedback on this one, will you?

Do help a brother out!

eveing bro give us a bit more info on your feeding, looking like MG going on but not sure, to you till us what your feeding is,im in coco and she looking like mg to me,wat you ph going in and out ? :peace: Kudo

molybdenum def.It could also be zinc def but ether one is pretty rare.Check you ph and make sure it's correct. Some of those first bottom leaves turn yellow an fall off and this is normal.Remove all yellow leaves, correct the ph add some cal-mag and an all around balance fert that contains zinc and other trace elements at 1/2 the reccomended dose and see if this helps.

I am not feeding them anything, they just started flowering, and I was gonna start with the Big Bud, but then they started acting out, so I decided to pause and wait for some opinion before feeding them. Haven't given them anything but PH control during the veg state.

I try to keep PH levels at 5.8.

@namvet25, can you elaborate on the medium you want me to put in. Where can I find such a substance? I can purchase the chemicals separately, but I've never heard of a "all around balance fert that contains zinc and other trace elements". I should just pick the dry leaves off? You sure?

Thank you so much for the speedy reply, guys! One love!

Well some of the symptoms have subsided, but the Jack isn't getting better at all. The yellowing has progressed to some of the other leaves...

Come on you guys! Give some feedback  .

In the words of Samwise Gamgee - "Will you not help 'em?"

. hey man i replied to your pm i thought id check your post to read up a lil more and i thnk you should start more than just big bud. thats just an additive thats not necesary but is good in combination with the primary nutrients being N.P.K (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) < those are the essentials. if your using big bud means your using advanced nutrients. id grab their ph perfect grow and bloom A+B. thatll be called your base nutrients. or you can use other peoples like biobizz, fox farms, technaflora. but they will be named different than advanced sensi products. i currently use advanced Micro,Grow,Bloom for base but theyre not available anymore they replaced with the ones i said. but i use such little nutes with autos mine have lasted almost 2 years.(half liter bottles) hope they do better let us know

Rough Calculation Guide:
Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5
