Live Stoner Chat The '25 Outdoor Auto-Photo Competition!

Live Stoner Chat
Hoping for Marigolds in the pot. The other is Jeano's Genetics Blue Dog auto that has been left out for the last 11 weeks Just that its alive is cool and doing well  Her sisters in my tent are getting harvested. The inground Blueberry photo got bricks to dam the dry nutrients from washing away. She lost a little off of her top knot :eyebrows:

Gotta cover...but it is factor 25...like sun screen...I didn't know if that might block too much sunlight..... :headbang: ...

View attachment 1747955 Emm...Emm...never crossed me mind...honest....

But...each 70 ltr pot has 3 sections....so if I put the 5 Lav Autos in 2 sections...I should get enough space to watch them..shape/structure..
And if I put 20 or so of mine in the 3rd section...I would get the males I need from mine to make the cross I need for colour..:pass:...then I get more to Play with...and they'll be ready for cold season...to check the colours..

What I was Hoping was one of the Somas would be best....coz I can get them in Regulars....:headbang:....

(Cough..cough...second lidded pot... :crying: ...I can resist anything...except temptation....)

@Jean-O ...have you bred with Feminised seed...?...I know when they first come out they said they weren't good to breed on with...but I never knew if that was just breeder bumph to stop repro....:headbang:
I mostly make Feminized crosses, I do still make non feminized crosses but that's mostly just for my personal hunts. Not many people are looking for non feminized seeds anymore.

Happy Friday AFNers. Looks like a beautiful weekend ahead for me in the Mich. Gonna start to see some full throttle growth for the next couple of months now that the temps have risen and stabilized.

@Waira .. encyclopedia...have you known any deficiency that makes leaves change their orientation..like instead of laying horizontal they go vertical.. north/south.

Just asking coz I think it might be an old cross Trait.....I just wanna rule out deficiency...... :coffee:
Aunty, do you mean that upward angled "praying" posture the leaf and petiole can take? If so, it's not a nutrient issue at all, so far as I can tell it's a response to light intensity. I've had ID and OD plants do this...
Just as stem and leaf can move to better angle toward light, they can also adjust to reduce intensity. By angling upward, the leaf isn't getting hit square-on with light, angling reduces the intensity some... I think that's what happening-- 🤓
I've had a plant or two do this and stay that way most of their lives too... So something else there it would seem...

Looking primed for the season GH!
I have a Blue Dawg going now, the ChemD' pheno' line... How do yours smell?

Went in from the old way, via the batcave, today.
The bats are back!
Pics below, but first ...

Our volunteer mystery girl is definitely flowering, no doubt about it.
Got in to water and visit in general.
She was quite thirsty.
I also need to add more media to these white containers.

The shape of the colas says it all.
So if she's doing this on literally the solstice,
then she's not going to turn back at this point.
Could have a harvest in 12-16 weeks, possible?!?!
That would be September to October, wow.
Early days yet, shouldn't get too excited, haha.

You can also see the leaves are all three leaflet,
and still getting thinner and thinner.

Up top.
Her pink petioles are showing through strongly.
And into the main stems too.
PXL_20250621_060901518.MP.jpg

Wonder how much strength she'll show?
At about 80-90 cm tall now, she will still stretch for a month or two.

Her color and shape really remind me of the Grail NLD pheno from Season 1.
Same delicate structure to her, too.
Though the father was from the Grail Faster pheno, not the NLD. I think. :p

And back to the bats!
They are a bit more spread out than last season.
Must have been here a while, can tell from the fresh guano.
I haven't used this entrance for a few months already, I think.

Nope.... :crying: .... usually it is one leaf 1/3rd of the way down the main calyx....so I'll show you the odd one that has two first...

Jazz hands...look at the orientation..and it is not sun tracking...the sun is behind them.

Then...look at the pheno to the left above her....do you see the leaf like....:face:..face palm... it's covering it's own face.......

Look how the leaf stem comes out.... ...nothing in front to force it to turn.

Happy Saturday...:pighug:...you knew it wouldn't be an easy one.......I think it is a cross trait...I just wanted to rule out deficiency...:pass:

And that was the temp on top of my lidded pot yesterday...I opened the vents....:gassy:...

Have a great weekend everyone...:bighug:...

Wow...you are going to get giraffes again.....:bighug:...they are looking good.....:growing:.....

:pighug:. Loving the bats too...but I would be avoiding that entrance......

Yeah, I usually don't use that entrance now.
But there were reasons to avoid my newer entry point.
And the old entrance was still quite safe today.

When I went inside, the dogs were there.
They soon moved off, but the noise got the bats a bit anxious, quite a few flying around.

I'm constantly comparing pics to their growth last season.
Last season, at this time, I had three pots with five big plants,
all of them ahead of this volunteer girl this year.
This lady may get a bit big, but she really is already in flower.
I still haven't even dropped the beans for the other two pots.
Last year's trees was a bad move.
Too big to look after properly.
Last a lot of flower in the end.

Keep them smaller, and happier, and just yield a few oz per plant.
But easier to work with, especially tying them down and vs the wind.
