:smokeout: hey luv! ...she's an interesting case for sure... Can't say if it's some "throw-back" ancestor genetics that got switched on, or if she's a case of one of those oddball NLD's that show almost auto-like behavior like the landrace PNG's that Tobe grew and had what could only be described as auto-blooming behavior. A few were blooming under 20+hours light :wtf:
This would explain her early sexing too... A shame you can't do clones, this could be a most worthy pheno!
Agree on the bloom times, I'm leaning on sooner than later :smokeit:...let's see what 6-8 weeks shows...

Your bats, are they migrators? I figure you know what species, but can't say as that may out your location -😬

This is the down side to such NLD's, so hard to deal with the long cycle and the stretch that it brings...
I wish Doors x OHz was available from 'Mac; did you pick up any semi-auto types or hybrid x OHz? He has made some excellent auto x OHz... Cindy Jack, Tangie x's...

Yeah, not sure what it is that is making her flower like this.
Of course, the Nevil's Haze has some NL in it, but look at her, not much else indica in that plant, so I doubt it's the NL.
Or, the Kariba, which is Zimbabwean, is possible, as some of the crosses from the Nev Haze 23 x Kariba have shorter flowering times.
Anyway, gotta keep watching her.
I still have a bunch more that are similar heritage to this girl.

My bats must be migrators, because they disappeared over winter and are now back.
Just the other evening, at dusk, not far from the garden, I saw many of them flying around, presumably eating the flying bugs.
They are definitely insect eaters, not fruit bats.
I don't know exactly which species though, because there are many types of insect eating bats around here, apparently.

The best way to deal with the long cycles and stretch is to start them after midsummer.
Remember my 2023-24 grow with that Super Silver Sour Nevil Haze?
Started them mid October that year!!

Now that I know most of these NLDs flower here around mid to late August,
and they need about 4-6 weeks to reach maturity to show sex,
I figure I can start them between midsummer and July some time,
and they'll get about 4-8 weeks veg, then hit flower.
Give me 1.0 - 1.5 m tall plants, give or take.
Anyway, that's the theory, let's see what actually happens this year.

Last year, because most were re-veg, they had literally months of veg before flower. Crazy me.

As for those MadMad crosses, wow!
Mine aren't directly from him, but from another grower who had a range of his and Tom Hill, and Todd McCormick (?) haze, etc.
He did, among other things, a MadMac original haze x Tom Hill's Positronics Thai-leaning haze.
That's what I just acquired and will be dropping very soon.
Though Mac has some crazy crosses available, so many to choose from.
I'd love to try his .. everything really, haha! .. but he did some crosses with Sannies' Jack, Killing Fields, and Shackzilla.
Plus those crosses to Dutch Passion sativa dominant autos
Put them on the shopping list, along with almost anything from Ace and Prempavee over there in Thailand.

Meanwhile, I'll still be running some more of OJD's Connoisseur Genetics hazes,
like the Thai Madness which is Swiss Thai Nevil clone pheno 2 x (Nev haze pheno 21 x Mullumbimby Madness clone reversed).
Neville's Haze, Mullumbimby Madness and Thai are doing it for me these days.

Dutch Passion LemonZ girls are cruising. The tops are not growing much now, mostly the lowers. Our high temperature yesterday was 89 (32°C). They got pretty thirsty, so I increased watering from twice daily to 3 times, still with 2.5 g/GL of MegaCrop 1-part. They have both blown over a couple of times, so now they are supported with mason's twine. I gave up looking for 15-gallon pots, so they'll finish in the 7-gallon pots I hope.

Looking fab there, my friend!
My thought would be -- weight those pots down, or tie them down fast.
The other advantage of bigger pots, is that weighting function, haha!
They're looking super healthy, great color and shape.
Show us some flowering pics if you can!

I have that too, no idea what causes the petiole to torque over like that...

You are creating the most weather tolerant autos out there Aunty! Winter cold, Summer sizzle--- at 50C!? :wtf:
Of course direct Sun will elevate the readings a lot, especially with that metal casing...but inside that sweat-box, I can't believe they haven';t steamed like dim-sums!

:hothot:...why??? Millions of Scoville units heat, actual taste is almost impossible even if you can take that insane heat... to say nothing of the ring of fire that comes later!...:yoinks:... vaseline helps a lots BTW....

Bio and chemical warfare is allowed! :amazon:
Did the grapey aroma hold into the auto cross Pepe?

😛 -- all enticing stuff mate! Where did the aroma end up?
The Wedding auto has vanilla terps. I'd like to get it tested to see what the lab results are.
