Live Stoner Chat The '25 Outdoor Auto-Photo Competition!

Live Stoner Chat
- I see she has her priorities straight now! :hump: ... no photo'/semi-auto's? ...I forget, did you get some AsianHaze or Crazian?
Crazian will likely be faster, but until some OD runs are done it's a guess... I might have a few UEL's too (Ultra Early Love)...
But I'm stoked you're hat's back in the ring! :d5:

Pepe mate, nice cross choices! I'm surprised they are showing sex so soon, how old are they? So far to date, despite what the Punnet Square recessive allele/auto genes school thinkers say, some F1 photo/auto crosses have shown to buck the expected trends... View attachment 1747118
Guess we'll see if they go directly into bloom, or veg out a while longer. I've had a cultivar or two show sex early-ish and then keep building veg for a while before kicking over fully...
Jean-O here is literally showing this right now!

I expect nothing less my man! :headbang:
I got Speed Racer hatched now, just waiting for them and the rest to breach the surface... Time to get off my lazy ass and start a thread up for this season -
I need to revisit the Speed Racer, I got too many projects going on almost hard to prioritize them. The Lilac Diesel it was crossed from was excellent smoke with an odd fresh linen and lemon profile super energetic effects. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out for you I definitely enjoyed the last one I grew outdoors a couple of years ago.

Are you other Michigan growers getting a ton of white pollen floating in? Last week it looked like it snowed in my yard from pollen. I had to pull out my leaf blower and clean off the autos that are in flower nasty pollen all over my buds!

It's a good thing that the pine trees release their pollen way earlier in the year! I would have solid yellow cannabis plants!
I had just done a paint correction and ceramic seal on this beautiful blue Corvette. I pulled it out of my shop about 30 minutes before the owner was to come and pick it up. I went outside when I heard him drive up and met him at his car. It's a really good thing that it was fully ceramic coated! I fixed it in less than a minute with my leaf blower and it looked like yellow smoke coming off when I hit it.

That was actually a good thing! The ease of removal of the pollen, impressed this guy quite well. He gave me a bunch of referrals after that!

Yup a few days ago. I've been having sneezing fits ever since!

I got too many projects going on almost hard to prioritize them.
LOL
We must be related! I have the same problem.

I noticed it a few years ago and have been telling my helper Tony. The auto gene isn't so recessive as everyone thinks. The auto gene's im working are a long ways from the rudy they came from. Many generations of just selecting the auto trait. Maybe there's a variant of the auto gene, an allele that is dominant. I've had some auto at F1 a few times, we'll see if any do this summer.

Second Batch @Waira all autos not fasts or photos that’s next year.

Cannabis is not Addictive..... Breeding it is...:headbang:.

Most people don't realise that making the cross is the Easy part.....:wizzy:...but you gotta bring them up after that....and just like kids...that is where the work Starts.

Clouds of yellow pollen from the pine trees :eek2:when the wind blows achooo :cuss:

Yeah Pine pollen is just Unbelievable....:headbang:......

Don't we all....:headbang:...the Clicks of breeding does something for my brain..:pass:....click..click..click....

I used to have a thread up about it @iampepe ...but it got wiped out one server date...coz I was getting the same results....:pass:..
IMO... identifiable Autos in F1's.....

I've even second guessed myself wondering if I was picking up on Fast Flower rather than Autos.

I never did figure it out....:pass:

Getting hotter. Mid 30s C today.
Watered as they were a bit dry.
Prepared the last of those white containers for this season by removing all the weeds like before.

And now for a series of out of focus photos, haha...

She's naturally kind of grown two main tops.
Left side is slightly taller than the right.

Leaves definitely have that NLD look to them.
Gives me a similar vibe to that more NLD and long flowering Grail girl in 2023 to 2024 reveg season.
Also the same pink leaf stem.
Kind of looks a bit delicate, but actually quite tough stems.

She's about 80 cm tall I estimate (measure with hands).

This is the taller top on the left.

Has that kind of look like a week or two into flower after showing sex.
Internode length is quite short.

And the shorter top on the right:

She's now mostly showing only three-leaflet fans on the main tops.
Before she was flipping back and forth.
So, that's not just a sign of start of flower.
It's also a sign of a more Thai or SEA background I think.
Those Grail x ThaiFricans from 2024 were a bit similar.

And It's like a week before the summer solstice.
The light cycle between now and then doesn't change much at all.
It's not like she's going to have any reason to flip back into full veg either.
It'll take a week or two until after the solstice to feel the light cycles roll back, too.
Conclusion: I think she'll kind of continue with this kind of growth for a few more weeks,
and then slowly but surely roll into more and more complete flowering.

The more I look at this plant and think about it,
I suspect that my attribution of parentage may be wrong.
This young lady may be sister and brother:

(Grail x ThaiFrican) F2

More specifically:

((NevHaze18 x Mullumbimby Madness 1) x (NevHaze21 x Mullumbimby Madness Long))
x
(Outback Haze 2 x (NevHaze x Kariba))

X

((NevHaze18 x Mullumbimby Madness 1) x (NevHaze21 x Mullumbimby Madness Long))
x
(Outback Haze 2 x (NevHaze x Kariba))

Right?!?!

I noticed that since she's not a very tall and spacious girl,
there is still a bit of space on either side of her in her pot.
Originally I was going to run three cultivars here.
One cultivar in each pot.
But then this mystery girl showed up and took over this pot.
I should have transplanted her on the side when I put her back in the ground.

One other pot will definitely have @harvestreaper 's MadMac OHz x THHz.
The other pot and may with this girl .... still thinking ...
