Live Stoner Chat The '25 Outdoor Auto-Photo Competition!

Live Stoner Chat
Dutch Passion LemonZ girls have been outside for 66 days. I've been plucking off a lot of inner leaves as they turn yellow, but the foliage is still very dense. I haven't done anything to spread the branches yet.

:smokeout: Looking great y'all! I'll get better caught up tomorrow when I'm off, much to do still though.... second soil mix&cook due with the KIS Organics Bloom Booster for final pots/transplants - :greenthumb: So far I'm liking what I see in the auto's which are in this amendment only.
Gotta get a damn thread going too! :rolleyes2:

>>> quick drive-by update meantime, again.... 😅 (flash on to counter shadowing hence the odd colors)

Nederland Skunk- finally pushing out after transplanting...

@Jean-O ....mass germ' works on Speed Racer saw 1 with a chance; showing some odd leaf malformations, seen this before... we'll see what the next couple sets do, might "correct"... Meantime I did hatch a Lav'MixedPurps99 x NL as a back-up!

I really liked that MOB X C99 AUTO X OGK one of the 3 I grew, which I wish I would have kept or worked with had the exact Blue Cheese terps I've been searching for somehow, but I didn't know until it was too late. I think if I'm remembering correctly 2 of them went full auto. Those rudi genes be a bit stronger than a lot of people say but I think that's been brought up before a few times.

It will be interesting on how well she performs outdoors!
It'll probably 8 or 9 months before I can grow her indoors. Are you going to top her or let her pretty much grow naturally?

Over at the other garden...

Thai Madness x ThaiFrican

[Swiss Thai Nevil 2 clone x (Neville's Haze 21 x Mullumbimby Madness Long clone reversed)]

[Outback Haze 2 clone x (Neville's Haze 23 x Kariba male)]

With the Swiss Thai Neville and Outback Haze in his/her genetics, there's a lot of Nev's Haze in the mix.
The rest is the two different Thais, the Mullumbimby, and the Zimbabwean Kariba.
Expect something NLD, with about 14-16 weeks in flower from this, if female.

Finally managed to get one of those seeds to survive.
Lost count of how many I've dropped so far, to leave them to either drown or die of drought.
Dropped some more today, even...

I've moved him/her to another location for now.
Should be fairly safe there.
But plan to find yet another site.
Though I need to prepare it.
I want to half-bury this pot in the ground.
Better than in this rather small pot.

That thing could possibly turn into a monster depending on the pheno. The AH i grew were very aggressive and large. Same with the crazy X.

@Waira update on the autos
The Gray is a chunky one. Looking good so far n getting close i believe.

This cross in particular has been "textbook" anomalous for a photo x auto F1, and I can't even guess why
hmmm.gif
LOL
...parent Maine's Own Blueberry/OGKush is a straight photo cross, nothing unusual in the grows of it to date... This C99a is very well worked and used in a ton of crosses because of this, so ditto there too...
Goes to show that the "auto" expression is anything but a simple recessive allele Punnet deal, and I suspect there are at least two different modalities of how it gets expressed. Yeah, the other we chatted about a few times, that being with landrace/heirloom equatorial Sativa-types showing the odd auto behavior on rare occasion.

:smokeit:-- her parents are rock solid OD's, so I expect nothing less! So far the vigor has been tops, even in the cool foggy weather that's typical here.
We'll see on the topping, but I think that's likely... The last few years I've done this late deliberately, the effect looks funny but doing it late keeps them from bushing out and making a bunch of little bud-sites which I want to avoid very much... It seems to promote better side bud size with minimal branching... just enough time to stretch some before bloom but not enough to "bush-out".... between this and some judicious node stripping I'm getting less kibbles&bits budding

--BBL, gotta get busy on my day off, starting with anew batch of soil to mix up and cook. This will be final pot/bloom soil using just the new KIS Bloom Booster amendment. The auto's seemed to have really like it too, and it's time to start round two- :woohoo1: Just a late started Gastro Jr. finishing up, so time for Rootbeer Float, Mango Stick and S99v4 to get hatched! 4th spot TBD yet, probably a Sawney or a Real Gorilla Seeds auto, likely Pink Runtz...

What base soil do you start with? Thoughts on the BaS 3.0?
