Frosted Truffle Pie photo x Alien Moonrocks auto.....Sub Zero photo X Newberry auto

total beauties Pepe -

... and BTW whatever you're doing for the damn septoria is working like a champ! Cu and something else?
Both of these F1's have really nice structures; great spacing and node stacking,....foliage is lush but not smothering... Looking forward to seeing them in bloom!
Sub'Berry looks to be getting busy soon and early...

Are these just-for-fun crosses or potential auto's down the road?
I tried to make a garden visit, as I still don't know what the damage was from that storm.
Are the whole pots flipped, or are they still standing?
Had to go in the long way, via the bat cave, and it was already near dusk.
I knew the bats would be getting active, and light was fading...
Halfway through the cave, the stray dogs started up at the other end, seeing me coming.
But rather than running, most stood their ground, and some even headed towards me!
Trying to make some noise to scare them off -- almost always works -- I think I just startled more bats!
Dogs barking and approaching in front, bats flying close to my head,
I decided that it wasn't my day.
Turned and left, keeping an eye on those dogs.
And headed home.
Not sure when I'll be able to visit again.
Pray my volunteer girl is still happy and healthy.
At least the rainfall has been good enough that, if the pot is still standing, she wouldn't need watering.

Holy poop tea girlfriend, that was some bad vibe Juju going down there! ....
Fuuuuuuck that shizzle

-- the bats are one thing, but the feral mutts acting like that? Nuh-uhh, nope, mmmph...
Wise call to bail out, nothing to be gained all things considered other than assessing the plant's fate... so not worth it! And consider carrying a "walking stick" in the future, a handy tool with several applications in any case

LOL
Crinkled up growth tip and a leaf with some brown spots. Leaf edges look bug bit. Never seen this before. Please comment if ya got a clue.
This gal may have to drop out, hate to push damaged goods. Wait and see I guess...
I've had this before too mate, hot spots and/or a sorta burst of roots and nutes together thanks to the warm weather speeding things along...
In fact this delayed nute burn has caused loss of apical dominance before, it's why I topped late that one year; I gave it 1 week or so and the tops stayed stalled-out so I whacked'm... I swear the plants sighed with relief and fired off the laterals in doubletime!
It was a happy accident as well, after seeing the response and results of topping this late in veg... it may look funny but I got what I wanted: minimal side branching development, instead they nugg'ed up nicely at the nodes.... Plus more smaller, less rot-prone tops; main cola always first and worst for the Rots! I break the buds down quite a bit anyway coz the Rots don't stop with harvest

-- so long fat tops, while visually appealing, are impractical in all other aspects.
Anyway, wait and see how they respond, same time frame... If they look and stay fragg'ed, consider topping 2-3 nodes down and forcing the issue. In my case it was clear the plants feedback loop was in a jam about what to do; the minute that was relieved by topping they blasted right along!
If the leaves start to look less cooked, and growth seems OK, resign to have some manky leaves (who care anyway?) LOL
That Nederland looks a lot like something I grew back in the 80’s
I'm not surprised Mason, Nederland is an long kept IBL from back then. At the other forum I'm at, there are lots of "OG" growers and all to the last lament to apparent loss of those original true-blue skunk stanker lines, whatever the lineage. Clearly, that RKS reek can show up in a number of crosses, by chance or otherwise... What I gather is that it's difficult to maintain, and if good foundation plants are lost, finding them again is a damn journey!
The guy who shared Ned with me spent decades and big $$ on various cultivars that were the "real deal" only to find out otherwise. He too was one of those who had been growing in those olde days when such skunky aroma cultivars were apparently more common. Interestingly, very few of them said the Skunk#1 was one of those even then, with little exception...
Ned' is not a Skunk
per se I believe... It came from some old hippy grower who has kept it since early '80's(?).... And several others I see are actively seeking/working various lines to isolate and pin down consistent bag-burning skunk stanky culti's. Folks love it more than ever it seems! And why not, rare as it is these days.
Ned's high qualities are a big part of the love this guy who shared it has for it besides the stank... Sooo, if I'm (pheno)-lucky, I'll have some choice retro-bud to enjoy!
@Waira Update on the photoperiods. Things are cruising right along looking real happy.

yeah they are! And it seems you have them photo's restrained in size better this year, as planned...

LOL
...I really like HB's build and small leaves, reminds me a bit of Funky Miracle.. nice and easy grow and maintenance!
I'm such a hump, I forgot to kept tabs on your AHz's, and you said you've run Crazian to finish too?
Mine is now ahead of the Fast Orange Cake which was the vigor champ up 'til now...
What base soil do you start with? Thoughts on the BaS 3.0?
I've been happy with Roots Organic Original the last two years since my previous go-to's are not available to me or not trusted anymore (King's Mix, suspected bad batch wonked most of a season up until I switched to Roots... KM is largely coco-based, and I think some shit coco got in that production batch. it's been good before though, just very light and dries out quickly. I usually blended the Empire Builder with it to balance water retention better...
I've not tried BAS but their rep's is very good! I was tempted to try them this year, but I decided to go with what I know in KIS... As mentioned, I'm using their relatively new Bloom Booster amendment this year and I'm seeing the improvements and responses I was hoping for in results so far (auto's)... It's a bit less N (and different sourcing of it), plus higher P-K of course. Auto's doing better in just the BB soil, no Nute Pack at all, which makes sense considering life cycle times and need changes... Chatted with KIS Tad about it and we were in accord with my observations and thoughts about how the Nute Pack performed with auto's. Too much N and lingering of it for shorter life cycle auto's, which adversely affected budding IME...
You’re gonna like the Gastro Jr buddy
I recommend the BB amendment for trials Mason, mix-in or top dressing; it's a fine powder so it should dissolve and penetrate nicely... good-stinky too!
I need to review the grows of Gastro' more, but she seems to have a narrow build, strongly upright branches... Yours is a beast!

Where did the aroma end up?
Mine is almost done, gonna take pics now in fact...
