Some good observations this year…

Durban Poison and Green Crack extremely bug & disease resistant. The moths and budworms etc avoiding it.

Sour D is a bud attractor and needs regular preventative treatments

Space Station Gold somewhat more resistant than the sour d but still susceptible

Build a Flower from BAS makes an excellent top dressing for flower.

@Waira the Terps are off the hook in the raised bed.
Classic Sour D, Green Crack and Durban P and then toss in this space station gold funk from night owl and it’s a cannabis perfumery!

Fighting some tiny little moth worms this year and a couple shots of BT and some snipping off some affected bud and the problem should be handled.

Going to try the Dr Zymes this year for the bud wash and see how it compares to the flower shower.
:cool1: ...real deal GC had one of my most favorite aromas,...man I can't even recall the last time I had so much as a whiff of it!
What's the DP like, are you picking up any licorice/anise notes? I'm hoping the Pineapple Poison will have some of that...
SD,..fuelly, earth, pine, citrus,...some real old school stuff a buddy grew years ago had a skunk stank going but only as an after-smell... My car reeked of it, a pleasant surprise :smokeit: funny, coz a direct pinch & sniff didn't express that skunky note, only after some air exposure... Terp' chem' nose magic! :wiz:

The vermin cast can be pretty variable, never can be sure who'll show up for dinner... Bt gets deployed by me too :amazon:

Yeah, the bud wash gig,... The product is familiar but not this application. Did you get a good reference about it or something?

Not sure what I did to get the first picture to load up correctly but the rest are still setting side ways in a hard core daze lol. Just turn ur head when you look at them :dizzy:
Not a phone or internet guy, don't have time much to give to learning on how to modify pics, kids aren't around to help
They're loading OK onto your computer, or are you using a phone? If the former, just right click on the pic and you'll get a window with options, one of which is Open With... Paint is standard on Windows PC's...
Top left of the Paint window you'll see a Resize option. My pics start out around 2Mb,, but after resizing down to 35% they're in the Kb size range, still good resolution but smaller and load waaaay faster...
Nothing too techy really, very simple once you see what to do! If you want to try I can explain in more detail...

:woohoo1::ladies::woohoo1:Prime Time is here! They are forming up very nicely Jean, and man what a difference the heavy pruning made. I think this will show best on the girls that reveg'ed because of the crazy node stacking... really phat cola's forming up- :cool1:
HS is puttin' up hash bats! ... wish I could soak up that stank too, ditto for Amethyst - 😂

Wow, strange weather to bring 40's at night :wtf: ...one great thing about in-ground plants, cold snaps like that don't chill the soil deeply enough to screw with the plants....

I'm dyin' to get pics up, but my day off changed this week to Friday. At this point, night pics are the better option even if some of the girls that aren't well into bloom yet may be doing that night-droops thing... We'll see! All are now in bloom at least
Sizes are past what I wanted, my butt is puckering over what's coming -

Jean, the SR tried to go beast mode but hit a (pot size) wall, looks funny AF. The top was so majorly compacted, like I've not had before, it was a real mess and liability. After grinding over it for several days and it was clear that stretch on top was totally stalled, I decided to remove that upper most compacted section...nothing but Rot City there! She just ticked over, so I'm hoping the hormone gear grind will force some action on those top nodes and pop some expansion off before things set... it'll look funky but who cares - :smokeit:

... the LavMP99 x StrDg has stopped stretching like crazy, buds are fattening up quickly, trich's starting to pour out... betting she'll be done in 2 weeks. What a crazy-fun grow this one, figure she went nearly 3x in size between the 5th and now!
My nose is still a bit fooked from COVID, but some interesting aroma's starting on her too...

I believe i had them under 15 hrs for veg also. I think this is my 4th or 5th year working with the FV, EV cultivars originally started with regular 18 hr veg n have decreased light hours every year leading up to the outdoor transplant. I think I just need to wait till mid June with the cultivars I know to be hair triggered. They will definitely go into flower with minimal light decrease around the 14 to 15 hr threshold.
I'll do the same, run them under 15 hours of light and plant in June next year.

I think this is the ticket mates :greencheck:
You guys run your fasties a lot longer in the tent than I do...

For what it's worth (i.e., not very apples-to-apples) I start mine with the autos, where they do get those long light hours (18/6) but only for a couple weeks or so. Then they start the hardening process for OD life, which includes some shuffling of them around for a week-ish to ease the light hours down to current ambient hours in June... This includes going through sunset, BTW...
After that it's full time OD's, transplanting usually not long after.
To date, no reveg' issues, and I think it's because they are in that early stage of growth that's not susceptible to sudden changes in light hours, as they are very immature yet...
The caveat with me is that I'm angling for smaller plants, and part of that formula is shorter veg' time...

Jean, given how fast and well they grow for you as in-ground plants, and the fact that you're getting away from monster plants, the June plant-out gig is the way to go:greenthumb: Beyond that, it's the gamble with who's hair-triggered...even could be pheno' specific so only so much you can reasonably anticipate- 😬
Case in point: the MOGK'99a :rolleyes2: LOL -- fooled me for sure! ...as of today, looks like she'll turn some sort of purple; her stop-dead bloom stretch is certainly all MoB....

@Waira
The DP and Sour are both HSC stock. So the DP leans Pineapple Poison for sure. The SD is straight up really sour & diesel. It also has those lil rounded leafs around the flowers.

Green Crack is that dank stank I can’t put a finger on any specific terp it’s just really unique. Like oh I gotta smoke that! This one is fastbuds stock.

By the time I get to space station who the hell can tell what I’m smelling but it’s really greasy resin frosty and smells bitchin too. Would probably get some nice golf ball nugs indoors.

I think Build a Flower is great, but I don't think it's very cost effective. Now build a bloom, Oh yeah use that stuff! use that if you're going to feed for flower with FFFFJ or some fish emulsion or FAA. Even with some added compost and earth castings, it's always good to use the build a bloom, mainly for the amino acids. Amino acids are gonna help the uptake of the nutrients. A lot of times I will add it For last hour up to four hours of a compost tea brew. I'll brew the Rootwise the last hour and the add the enzymes as I fill my sprayer. You can very easily see the boost from that.

2025 Summer-Fall-Winter Grow -- Maria's Haze Heaven Hacienda!

More watering, and added more medium to Ms Volunteer's pot.

Miss Volunteer

About 130 cm high = 51 inches.
Trichomes progressing.
Aromas starting, though nothing special yet.
Dead leaves are remnants from that last typhoon.
Four main colas, plus more side colas.

Three Hazes

Still short and tight.
Throwing eleven-point leaves up top on two of them.

Lemon 'n' Lime Jones x (Grail x ThaiFrican)

Coming along nicely.
Should keep shorter as she's got a bit more indica in her genetics,
and planted later, closer to equinox.
