I was too, but not anymore. Upon very close inspection of pros and cons, I see absolutely no real benefit between a brummie and and equally badass DWC setup. In fact, the brummie has shitloads more potential to go wrong, imho
It's basically a huge DWC bucket with an oversized net pot (airpot) filled with an inert medium and a recirc pump to keep the airpot moist.
It looks quite good, but for what it's worth I would prefer a DWC with O2 temp control

I see what you mean, I've been doing the same with the pros and cons but the only thing extra that I could see going wrong is the water pump - not TOO much hassle. I wanted to include an Airpot in the setup but I guess if I don't mind top feeding for a little while I could still do that
Dunno... A water pump failure in DWC will let you plants root survive in water for a fair few dozen hours before drowning and roting. But if a huge root ball in an airpot goes without top feed, in a couple hours the plants is dry and dead.
Given then price to get it running, DWC is far simpler and cheaper to set up
