I was wonderin if any1 can answer my Q..what is the diffrence between the main stem bein green or purple??? iv done 4 gardens in total the 4th is my first Auto garden. These 1's ar al growin with green stems but my last garden had purple stems. Is it just the strain???

Yes it's just the different strains, they might be picking up some genetics af a strain that was used for cross breeding.

Its most likely genetics but it can sometimes indicate that the plant is getting cold maybe after lights out...is it just the stem showing colour?

Really--not many canna have purple genetics towards the stem. Generally, it is lock-out. Typically, one of many issues with PH----if not a genetic component. One will have the purple stems and main stem beginning anytime (usually after first major feeding/watering--weeks four to six) that are very pliable along with the other deficiencies. Run-of-the-mill PH problem locking out P. I have had a lot of purple. :twist:

Thanks guys,it was myself & my bro who where undecided so i thought i would put the Q out & see what came up. Myself i hav only got the purple stems a couple of times & they were both in soil so not sure if ph would b a big factor,possibly more leanin with stylez717 possible cause i had the same with the stem of the leaves. :smokebuds: Thanks again
