have none, hard to buy when ur 61 everyone thinks ur the man
I have dried my buds, I put them in jars, no more then 3/4 way full. I put Hydrometers in the jars getting reading 58% to 64% . I read the cure is dead at 55%. There is so much conflicting information out there. At what percentage t do I want my jars to be. I purchased the 62% humidity packets, what the hell are they for and when do you put the packets in the jars. Do you want to put the 62% packets in the jars for awhile to let it cure or what. I have read articles, watched videos everyone has a different way. Please help so I don' spoil my first grow

I try and have my stuff in jars @ 70%, and then burp till I hit 58% if it drys too fast, a good cure is toast. You'll be left with harsh smoke. (Honestly, it'll probably be about what's rushed on to the street around here)

The 62s are fine, I prefer my smoke a tad dryer. And yes, I toss a pack in when I begin the jarring. If your stable 58-62%, the dryings over, lock the jar and let them sit. The weed will "cure" (stabilize the moisture content thru out, and release the water molecule attached to the thc). The flavor is what suffers most from a quick dry. It can be anywhere from not so bad, to I'm smoking hay.

I will put the 62% packets in the jars first thing in the morning. So should I burp the jars everyday and for how long. Have a feeling that they will hit the 62% mark pretty quick. How long do I leave the packets in the jars. Is it for 4-5 weeks so the buds can slowly cure. Then I can use a vacuum sealer then

62% is good, for long term storage you can go with little lower, like 58% or 56%.
Anything between is good.

I don't remove the bovida packets till the jar is empty!

Burping allows a controlled slow dry to the target rh%. I burp till I'm steady at the desired % once I'm there, I don't open the jar unless I'm into that jar.

Also, don't throw away your boveda packs when they're dry n stiff. You can re-moisten them with some distilled water.

Just put them in RO water? I never heard that before... Are they precise after that (still 62%)?

Nah, you gotta get them down to that again, after that they just keep the buds moist. So don't use the packs to reach the right humidity. Dry and burp to get there, then stuff in a pack to keep it there.

I think I don't understand @Druid... They don't sit at 62% anymore after you re-moisten them?
Then they're useless, throw them away and buy new one?
I throw them away when they're hard.
