Yeah I'll probably do around 8 inches from the soil, but the reason I concern with height above is height restrictions haha. My lights are essentially stationary (with shelves for the plants to adjust height instead of the lights). So with your help I know about haw far away I can get my scrog net from the lights without them growing into the lights and getting burnt to death! So you say about 4" above the net, my temps are stay at about 80* at 6" from the light. So if I put a net 10" under my light that should still allow them enough grow room before being in the lights. And let's be honest, I wanna be the one smoking my buds, not my light hood haha!

Definitely don't want the lights doing the smoking!! Now, keep in mind, on my first TD, I had a few buds that were 6-8 inches, so the bud size can vary. Now, I truly believe that since I had so many more bud sites, the plant had to expend more energy on all those bud site, so they ended up being smaller. If that is how it really works, you should be fine. I just don't want you to think that the bud size is absolute, and it might vary. 10 inches should be sufficient, but make sure you can adjust if necessary

Word bro thanks again man! I'll definitely leave room for adjustments just to be safe. Scrogging is supposed to make more smaller buds rather than less larger ones. And from your last grow you can see that the idea is that more bud sites = more yield in contrast to bigger buds but less of them. What size of squares are you making your new scrog screen to be? I was thinking 2" on mine.

Personally I prefer 2x2-2x4 in spacing. I start with the 5x5 netting then weave some hemp twin to make the holes smaller.

Hell yeah I plan to be joining soon! Just not this grow I want to find out what what this strain does but I'm planning on running 2 grows back to back and the next one will for sure be a scrog with 2 plants!
