Last December and I swam out into the river to get him at around 2:30 or 3:00 am man. There was a post telling about high mercury in the water and the current put him right there and he wrapped around that post. I seen his tail come out the water and it had to be 8 to 10 inches wide. I told my buddy to hold the pole and I waded out and got my damn fish. I guess kind of small but worth it for me. It's the story behind it that makes that fish a beast.....lol
