The Nutrient Company

I've posted this before but this looks promising, a company who provide all organic ferts, bacteria, funghi etc. Very reasonably priced and they also have lots of info on there on what each product does and why etc.

I can feel a supersoil mix coming on...I'm looking at ordering one of each of the fertilizer-Bonemeal, Dolomite, Fish/Blood/Bone, Hoof & Horn and worm castings.
I'm also going to try the mycorrhizae-TNC Mycorr Max.

All that for £32.00 and only £7.00 delivery.

What do you think guys?

Dazed.

I'm going to give these guys a try. I love the idea of being able to get most of my products from the same company, all in UK. They also seem to have a lot of info online and answer questions very thoroughly which is also a bonus (esp to me lol).

So I'm going to try and make a supersoil mix of my own but I've NO IDEA how to work out the amounts to mix! I've been reading the Supersoil thread in Organics, I took rough amounts from the mixes in there.

I'm going to start with Biobizz Lightmix as my base soil, then ammend with the following (all organic from TNC) per 6ltr Airpot :

TNC Wormcastings - ?gm
Fish/Blood/Bone - 15gm
Hoof and Horn - 12gm
Bonemeal - 25gm
TNC Mycorr - 20gm
Dolomite Lime - 6gm
Vermiculite - ?gm
Molasses - 15ml
Epsom Salts - ?gm

Can anyone offer any advice on this? Looks good/bad? Are the amounts totally wrong, I tried to convert them from g/m2 to g/ltr. I want to try and make it so I just use rainwater and brew a simple compost tea to help out.

I don't have the luxury of letting it sit in the sun for a month or anything like that, will it still sat indoors for a few weeks?

Excited about this guys!

Peace

Yes, It is a good idea to have this in the organics section.

I will see if I can have it moved.

IT looks good enough, the main thing is to not over do anything in the recipe.

I put 8#'s of worm casting per 4 cubic foot of soil.

8# = 3.6 Kg

1 25 cubic yard = O.96 cubic meter. but I don't know how you measure the soil there.

I add 1.5 cups of epsom salts per 4 cubic feet

I don't add vermiculite, but I add perlite 6 liters per 4 cubic ft of soil. I don't know if the Verm. goes in at the same rate.

If you can, get it moist, and put it in warm sun for those two weeks. As much as you can get will help you.

I would also look into that cal/mag stuff that that company carries.

I will let you handle the conversions.

Hope it helps, and If I missed anything, let me know
