not really sure if any of yall knew where the whole "micro.growing" started...
truthfully I'm not 100% sure either. when I started it, I was on rollitup.org. me, pitbudz, sicc, and crazytrain were the only ones I knew of. most of us grew in really small spaces, me preferably, were pc cases. it was before autoflowers were all the rage. we mostly did 12/12 from seed with photos. we traded secrets and stayed in touch with each other religiously, if not more. this was about thanksgiving of 2009. the only auto that was available at the time commercialy was lowrider, and with genetics not being up to par, it just made more sense using high potency photo strains.
after quite a few successful grows over at riu.org, I bought me some autos and became a member on the afn. I was the only pc grower on this site when I joined. later, crazytrain and truu moved over to this forum and we became the best of friends. meeting up on the weekends, trading pokemon (lol...seeds), helping each other build grow enviroments, testing budz, and enjoying our company amongst each other. one of the first time I had met up with members on such a clandestine topic!!!
that's been awhile now. just about every grow forum has a micro.section now. its amazing to see what micro.growing was then and is now. no one understood the point of growing so small, and even got bashed for growing autos at one point. no one understood how perfect it felt to have beautiful colors, vibrant odors, and a lil bit of heaven in each plant.
so now I'm curious as to what got everyone here into micro.growing, and who/what were your inspirations in doing so?
