Hey folks, I noticed something while cleaning up after 2 harvested Dinafem Auto White Widows, and it explains a lot about the harvest I got from each plant, methinks.
The pic above is the root "ball" from each plant. The top plant yielded 1.5 oz of good, and VERY potent, bud. The lower plant yielded just under 1 oz of dried bud-good and potent, as well.
Both were grown in TLO soil, and for the most part, trouble free. However, these two (I have one other plant still flowering-its massive, by comparison..) stopped drinking for several days around day 60. I noticed that the roots on the lower smelled a bit funky, and likely were root rotting. I was quite surprised at how small the root balls were.
Anybody else ever check your plant roots, post harvest? I was amazed by what I saw, and learned.
Peace
