Going to use this as a base grow.

While I have indoor growing experience, this is first with this species.

So, I decided to beef up my gear, and have some fun.

Since this is my control grow, I am treating these plants no different then my vegetables with regards to medium and fertilizer. In 35/40 days when I begin my second grow ( perpetual 35/40 dsy harvests ), I will begin methods I have read over past 6 months ( I figured I would start my indoors at same time, so I had time to study )

I am growing 2x Auto Blueberry, and 2x Critical Mass Auto.
They will spend first portion in my seedling pots using an organic pre mix, then will move to 5gal Smart pots with the same pre mix, mixed with addtl perilite and sand.

Growing in a 1mx1mx2m tent

2x 300w Mars Hydro gen 1 "Blurple" full spectrum
1x 600w ( 120x5w) chinese "soft white" full spectrum

6" filter with 240cfm inline duct fan

Direct seed to soil sow on Feb 6.

Both Critical Mass ( Red ) had soil break on Feb 9
The right Blueberry ( blue ) had soil break on Feb 10
the left Blueberry had soil break Feb 11.

Ill update later with medium details.

Had my first noted @#@& up.

Normally I use seed pods, then my seeling pots, then my 5gal buckets with veggies, so freggin muscle memory...

I didnt want to double stress these with 2 replants.... So I went direct into seedling pots....

Well.... I forgot these womt be drinking fast, and thus waterlocked out O2.... got droopies.

So.... I quick scooped with hands out a chunk, well beyond what roots may be there, and swapped out rest of wet medium with dry medium from the bag in new pots, to hopefully wick out moisture to get oxygen to these lil buggers..

fingers crossed....

Well, this morning they were still drooped. I decided to put them outside in fresh sunlight and breeze, to hopefully draw out more moisture. Brought them in at sunset, and they have started to straighten out some, 2/3 better then yesterday.

They aren't saluting, but tips ain't touchin stalks either.

Used the opportunity today to rearrange room, tent, then final touches to the exterior location and placement of the filter duct exhaust vent.

Good job getting them back on track!!

So, they are stunted but recovering...first week of water lock, second week I had a rig come down, had to repot EVERYTHING.

they are 3 days after salvage...color darkening back to green. Another day or two I will be add ph water only.

Since its my control grow, im not stressing it... gonna experiment with these and have fun

ideas or thoughts, post up!! soil on top is dry as it was added to top to fill pot more, slight moist still under.
