Harvest & Curing Thick bud drying??

I think Nabzter(probably...) meant that following the Complete brown paper bag method, is and has been recorded as a great way to end up With quality product! :d5::pass: :smoking:

Nope just recommended as a better , faster and easier way all round.
No leavin` the colas whole though, or you`ll(more often as not)end up having a big pile of stinky, moldy nastiness! 555

Exactly, I have learnt to always break them down a little.

I've dried whole colas before. Just cut em, stuck them in brown bags, and stuck the bags on top of tent.
If I'm totally honest, it makes no difference apart from they look awesome :) it just makes the drying process so much longer and can run into problems. All strains I've dried the colas of seem to be a bit smellier than if i was just dry the nugs. This was more than likely down to strain though.

If you're gonna dry them whole, once the ends were dry, I would jar them, and let the moisture from stem work it's way back into leaves. Only takes a couple hours. Then back into bags.
When ends are dry again, just repeat that step, until you're around 65 humidity in the jar.
But as everybody above has said, watch for mold, why risk ruining a harvest to look at nice dry colas?
