Hello,

Newb grower here. I've read over the self-diagnoses thread, https://www.autoflower.org/f74/self-diagnose-your-plants-basic-deficiencies-list-11.html , and can't seem to nail down whats going on here. I'm thinking it may be an Iron deficiency. Magnesium also looks good, but I have been supplementing almost all my feedings with CalMg+ to sort out an earlier issue with the RO water.

At Day 37, I have been watering every 2 days. Pot is light when it is picked up, and sticking my finger in a couple inches to see if its dry to make sure it needs watering. Trying to keep PH of water around 6.2-6.5. I have no runoff tests. I haven't watered today yet, just would like some insight as what I can add to this watering to correct my issue.

This is only happening on the older big fan leaves. Here are some close up pictures. Any help solving what it is and how to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Looks like cal/mag..try upping you dose and try foliar spray..1/4 tsp Epsom and 1/4 tsp molasses to a spray bottle thats fast acting!could be a lil hungry also!:tiphat:Keep at it you will bounce back!2-3 days

Thanks. I was just about to flush. So it may have been a bad idea, as it would have caused a bigger deficiency since it's rain water I would have flushed with. I'll up the dose a bit with calmag and water as normal. Lights out tomorrow light foliar spray and hopefully it helps.

a lot of my plants get that same look around 40 days or so...im guessin iron to.once I started watering with 1/2 tsp cal/mag+ and 1 tsp molasses per half gallon, cause that's how much I water every 2 days it starts to clear up.... main thing don't go tryin to fix what u don't no cause u can really get into some problems good luck man

Capture and test your run off. I wouldn't be surprise if it's off and contributing to your issues.

Rainwater? Just have in mind that rain water is very acidic in most parts of the world.

Like Muddy says, your ph is perhaps out of comfortable zone. I had similar issues because of acidic rainwater.

After flushing I put in some dolomite lime and some epsom salt and babies had quick recovery. Started to grow up to 6 cm a day.

Hows your new growth?

You mentioned in your post that you had cal mag issues earlier due to RO water lacking cal mag

Looks like Mag def - if new growth is ok i would suspect youve sorted the issue out bro =)

As the leaves get bigger they will look worse if they have been damaged early on because the blotches/marks spread out etc

Damaged leaf tissue never recovers - new healthy growth is what matters
