Today I moved a 25 day old plant from the veg tent to a vacant tent (I have 3)...
When doing an inspection I immediately noticed thrips...

So I put the plant back in the empty tent, cut this leaf and got out the scope... Thrips.

I've done some research and find that Monterey Organic Garden Spinosad Insect spray is a good solution. If you agree then I'll go ahead run out to the store and get some.

I looked in the veg tent window and have found that it's got them and other plants are affected. So this will need attending. I also have a third tent which has an 2, 8 week flowering plants and 2, 5 week plants. Should I consider this tent an issue as well? I don't see anything readily evident but it's loaded with flowers right now and I'm not sure where to do a visual. I've not touched this tent since the discovery. I check stuff pretty frequently and just saw this today.

I keep a very clean room and am not too sure just how they came to be, but this is spring and all manner of stuff is coming to life.

Any and all advise as to best practices in treating and avoiding them would be most helpful.

I had an outbreak and used this and it took care of the problem ASAP

Yes, thanks. So far it looks like it only happened in my veg tent... But I'm afraid to go in my flower tent now... Don't want to bring any in if that's possible... I wish I knew... I'm just looking in the window... Ugh!

Spinosad spray should do the job -- kill any insect it hits.

As backups, if needed, etc., you might (have to) consider sealing the tent (kill lights and air flow) with a few fresh No Pest strips inside, which will quickly kill any flying or crawling insects (exposed to the air); or a pyrethrin spray. Also consider neem oil, AzaMax, soaps, certain essential oils, etc. Many of these options can be administered as sprays and/or in the soil. If in bloom, to avoid getting buds wet, consider the NoPest strip vapor "fumigation" option.

So Waira... Is it possible that I could have only thrips in one tent? I'm off to get something to treat them but I really need to know where I should focus.

Here's what I am planning.

Treat the obviously affected tent and plants.
Clean the room with the tents in it
Turn off the fan in the flower (ok) tent and inspect the plants and treat flowering plants if necessary. Close the tent and turn on the fan again...

I'll be making sure that I wash up between locations...

What do you think... ?

:toke:rs I would treat all the plant's to be safe. nip it in the bud! to prevent further outbreak's.
:pass:sorry to hear about this!:shrug:fukkin thing's:nono: ATTACK!!!:shooty::warrior:
