Are the trichomes the definitive and best method for telling when to harvest. How easy is it to tell if a trichome is cloudy (sounds stupid I know) Day 83

The trichs are still a good way to look for harvest signs.
Bear (bare?!?) in mind that not all auto's amber up ... so you may be waiting for something that aint gonna happen.

But i don't really bother with that too much - Wait for the hairs to all receed and until there's very little new white hairs appearing. When they shrink and turn browny orange, it's pretty much done.

Also you can visibly see (or feel by the weight) that your plant has almost completely stopped drinking - Just wants to die!

Most of mine are done between Day 60 & Day 80 .. but there are some strains that take longer - and environmental conditions and light schedule "may" also play a role in harvest time. (I run my lights 24 hours)
