yesir coco and verm mixed with the jar. i put 3 jars of coco/verm mix to 1 jar of wbs spawn so it was a 1:3 ratio which is looking just fine as you can see its only like 2-3 days old. and its already taking hold. i find that if you leave out stuff like coffee that you can make things a lot easier and contaminant free. in the next month-2 time i will be spawning like 100 jars at least so im trying to put back over 5 lbs before may 31st. then stop growing except moving it to a homies crib and spliting the shrooms with him in a like 70/30 split with me on the big end but he wont have to do a thing i will tend to the whole op.

thinking im gonna start fruiting on sun-mon maybe. the tray is colonizing nicely. will show pics sometime ive been soooooo busy i havent shot a video of the hydro tent in a while either lol

hey carlos while checking on my tray today(which looks 80% done), i found a colonizing jars of bird seed so i will use that one to do grain lc and know i can knock up like 100 jars in one day.

just decided to look at all my jars and i have 17 with no contams and showing growth. threw out 2 to contams. both were bird seed. rye seems to take to the syringes pretty fast.

yah i did use one and honestly if you just bleach stuff good and oust the air with the ac off your golden. sterile procedure is simple to me, and honestly i give a 10% contamination margin when im buying stuff like rye and glass jars. i expect to loose some but if i even lost half i could pull a lb of mushies lol. i did mine in my bathroom which is technically the worst place you could do that minus your kitchen so i have great results so far. im gonna buy some 60cc syringes and do a few grain lc teks and end up with like way too many jars. lol i thought about filling my closet with mushrooms and growing with a blackstar led or two.. if i exhaust air out it would make the best incubator it would stay like 80 in there. but yah im just excited that things are finally working on this project. i have 4 fruiting chambers prebuilt and 15 out of 16 plastic totes that i need to spray paint black. the good news is that all the lids have been made by myself with filter ports in two places for good gas exchange. i would love to pull a full lb from that setup. if my first attempt yields a full lb then i feel i mastered my new mycology hobby.
