Indoor tips for germinating in cold weather..

I live down south and its usually warm so finding a nice warm spot to germ using the paper towel is never a problem, but because its December the highs are even pretty cool so any tips for germing in cool weather? thanks guys

Hey man
I would recommend using a heated propagator and a Tupperware box and still use the paper towel method works well for me in all weather. I wet kitchen roll then put beans in then put it in the sealed box then in the heated propagator almost 100% germ rate hope this helps:cough:

I have to use a heating pad but its cold here. I put them in a wet towel put the towel in a recycled Wendy's salad box and put the box on the heat pad. It never gets above 80°f. Cheap and ugly but it works.

Do u know the proper temperature to germ in?

I think between 70°f to 90°f. But someone on here will have a more definitive answer for you for sure. They know their stuff.

Can try germing straight into soil keeping it moist and a soft warm light above, cfl or alike works well. Good luck:thumbs:
