Hey there. Getting soil ready for next auto grow. It’s a layered mix of FFOF, HF, Light Warrior, EWC, perlite, and KIS Nutrient pack. I’m looking for a water only grow with compost teas and top dressing during flower. What are some thoughts on Roots Terp Tea mixes? How often should I top dress during flower? I also have a bag of Fox Farms Cavern Culture that looks like a great top dressing. Any thoughts?

Depends on what you decide to top dress with and how long it takes to actually be available for the plant to uptake. @hecnois the organic guru I just know a tiny bit lol

If you've already mixed in the Nutrient Pack, I would suggest holding off on top dressing more nutrients at least for the first cycle so you can see how the plant responds.

One thing to consider with nutrients in general. When you add them, what you're looking to do is address whatever the limiting factor of growth is. For example, if the soil is lacking potassium, then that could be limiting plant growth and you'd want to add more potassium. If it's nitrogen though and you add a product that doesn't have nitrogen, then you may be causing more harm than good and not get the plant response you want.

Less is more in a lot of cases and when you add too many variables it's hard to know what was good and what was bad and what's worth spending money on in the future.

Just my 2 cents!

^^THIS^^ is very solid advice! When it comes to soil, you can take Tad’s advice to the bank. That combination you mentioned sounds awfully ‘warm’ to me. I’ve had my best Grow’s with soils I made from KIS and BuildASoil; following their instructions to the ‘T’ and using not much more than water and AACT. In that case I will usually do a light too dress of one of their bloom nutrient packs and some quality EWC. IMO, it’s less about having a metric crap-ton of nutrients in the soil and more encouraging the biology in the soil to unlock all the goodies for your plant. It’s those little critters that are feeding your plants. Hope this helps.
