I Think its a good bench mark to aim for with the cheaper LED grow lights,I have been averaging between 1-1.5gpw for Auto grows the last few years with GNs Chinese made MS0004s and 0006s (£250 & £190,cheap in 2011 on release) but since I started using there Rebel upgrades (top end Philips chips) I have been getting twice that.
The next few years as LED grow lights evolve we will see a bigger difference grow in performance, efficiency and overall yield between the top end and bottom end of usable (I say usable because there are lights that aren't lol) LED grow lights available.
Well he did say that it should have been vegged alittle longer to completely fill that 5x5 scrog. I think if he would have he could have hit the 1g per watt range.
you can go to youtube and check this light out. I have 2 growers that I am sub'd to that have both done reviews on this light. Good reviews, non of that Mickey mouse shit. Lol
