Its amazing how the evolution of diodes has changed my perseption of what's a lot of energy to use to grow weed,12 months ago I would have said 600w was a lot in 1m2 now even a 300w growlight sounds a lot. I wonder how a Sun series would compare to the Mars or HPS.

I heard they will use Phillips or Cree in these newer Sun Series.

Not sure if you guys already know this, but I spoke with Lucy from Mars-Hydro, via email, and she said the Sun Series lights should be out by the end of next month, and will run $600 - $700 dollars.

We will use Cree chips for the new sun series. May finish mass production at the end of Feb. or early of March. But additional shipping fee will need if you order that time becasue we ship from China. To save the shipping fee, you can order around April after our containers arrive our warehosues.

Almost twice the price of the Mars 900W! Any details on the insides of the light? Spectrum? Diode wattage?

BTW Mars hydro...saw a video of the sun series unboxing and LOVED the amount of fans on it. Super happy potential customer here.
