Re arranged my TopLeds i got two more 200w panels not Topled unfortunately but theyl go on each side of the reflector. I may not even open them and sell the two new lights and get a 900 or 1200w veg spectrum

Vey nice, im a mars II guy also. I have a few leds and I don't know about you but I find that the 1200 mars II has the brightest, fullest spectrum of them all. What temps are you running in there?

Thats exactly what I'm gonna be running for the first time in my new grow. Heard the 1200w and the 1600w Mars hydro are the shit. And for the money, you can't fuck with em. Lol. Sorry I'm baked, been smoking on Cheeseberry,vaping CBD oil and eating canna cookies. Haha.

I feel like pulling out my 2x2, throwing the 1200 in there, a humidifier, fan, ratchet the 1200 to the roof and run a dwc scrog one plant at 1200w. Hmmmm. Im just already at my quota...

How is your density?

The colas above the canopy are very dense. They get slightly smaller and looser further down into the canopy, but that's my bad for cramming these two plants into such a small space. So far it looks like I'll get a lot of dense buds up top, and a whole mess of sugar trim at the bottom of the canopy.

This is still one of the aspects of LED growing I'm trying to get a feel for. For most of this grow, I was using intake air at about 72-76F degrees. The air would be somewhere between 74-84F degrees at the very top of the canopy, depending on my exhaust speed. So that shows how much radiant heat the LED and occasional CFL's cast on the plants. At night, they would cool off to about 68-74.

But I've heard from a few sources you want warmer temperatures when growing with LEDs. One source states 9F higher than normal temps (Blackdog LED).The reasoning is that 75F ambient works with HID lights because of the huge amount of infrared light, radiant heat, which warms the leaves. So assuming proper power and distance, HID setups rely on a balance between air temperature, radiant heat from lighting, and natural cooling from transpiration to get the ideal leaf temp for highest metabolism.

This makes sense for most LEDs, in my opinion. However, Mars II's include some infrared diodes. I can't say if they are there for radiant heat compensation, or simply spectral signaling. So until I get a laser thermometer (what are they called?), I won't know if my leaves are at the right temps.

I really want to get the 1600 for my new tent. It's like the Martian mothership!
