Loads of info on this site, great help. Thanks to everyone who contributes!

So about 4 months ago I germinated four 'feminised' seeds, I now have them about 25-30 cm tall. I'm going down a bonsai route so I've been trimming them a bit to get them to grow out.

My aim is to produce enough to last me for a while, but nothing super intense I like them to be natural & fluffy as it's not for sale.

They don't have great light & I was considering supplementing their light with some artificial light during daylight hours, but I have no idea where to start. They will remain about 40 cm tall and are all planted in one long plantpot so I figure I can get away with a small amount of light supplimentation & leave it on an autotimer (they're not at home so I leave them to do their own thing during the week).

Does anyone have any tips for a really small setup like mine? What lights are low energy consumption/bearing in mind they have some daylight what's the smallest light I can get away with purchasing just to help them along & have some control over their development. How long will it be from getting lights to yield or should I just leave them a year whilst they get 'bonsai' a bit more?

Thanks!

Are these autoflower seeds? Or photo seeds?

If you've trimmed an autoflower, you've already lost quite a bit of yield. AF strains need every bit of of the plant to maximize photosynthesis and energy production as they do not work on a photo-period mechanism.

You can supplement the plant with CFL lights, cheap, cost effective. Most come in 28w, you can add a few. Although try to get a few 55w's if you can. CFL's can safely be kept 1 inch from the plant and it won't burn it.

Also, any pics?

Good Q about the autoflower vs. photo, tbh I have no idea. A couple of them are looking like they're up to something. I'll try to upload some photos. I just got some mixed feminised seeds and was suprised they worked...
