Trading a Mars 2 700 for a 400?

I was wondering if it was possible to return my Mars 2 700 for a Mars 2 400 as my setup has changed and the 700 is to big, I do not want a refund for price difference would just like to exchange the light. It has not been 2 years since I purchased its been maybe close to 8 or 9 months. If someone could get back to me I would appreciate it, thanks.

@MarshydroTina should be able to help answer that. I've heard of turning them in and paying the difference for a bigger one, don't see a problem with what you want to do...

If worst comes to worst I have a brand new Mars 2 400 duel switch hi b h penetration led I just bought from Eric from LED light Depot still have the box and everything I'll trade you just bought the light 2 months ago I could definitely use the larger light if you're interested let me know

OK it sounds good, I do have a few questions, I do not have my FEDEX box.. I have my serial ## and I purchased directly from MarsHydro.com I only got the chance to use the 700 for one grow so working condition and physical shape is pretty much 100% as far as what I can trade it for the list is really confusing, does it have a be one of the Mars Pro 2 series or as said can it just be for a plain old Mars 2 400?

I can actually find the date or almost the exact date of purchase because I included it in one of my grow journals on here, I am checking now to see how long I have had it because it should be fairly fresh in your guys records, ok the day it arrived at my door was 9/10/15... so that is good.. but I still have no idea what i am doing in terms of what I can and cannot trade it in for, list is still really confusing me @MarshydroTina
