New Grower Trapper's Scrimmage Grow (Semi-Micro)

24 extra hours was all she needed.....:) The buds had indeed formed a little crispiness on the outside.

Hygro reads 67% (glare makes it tough to see)

Now! On with the cure!

Great idea with humidity packs. Might give that a whirl when I jar. I can't believe you were on the same seed as me! That's awesome, finished up around the same time haha

Certainly not an idea unique to me ;) Glad I was told about them....perfectly cured bud at 62% RH...treat em like expensive cigars :)

did ya say you were using three Boveda Pack per Jar??if you have the original pack they came in you really only need a Max of two man.Three is really just a waste as it were.you can stick it back in its pack n use it next grow dude.if ya dried yer bud and thats a half gallon jar like I use too one is fine if your not opening it every day.if your not opening it at all and its sealed, one is all you need man.

Yeah I bet its alil sad, man.but ya did good dude and you'll do good again.just gotta do the life thing for a bit tiz all man..we'll be here waiting for yer next run dude...no worries."AFN smoke out"

Great job man!! Just curious, did you calibrate the hygrometer?

Thanks, EoF :) Can't wait to get started again with all the new goodies and the knowledge/experience. (knock on wood) Yeah, 3X 8g packs per jar (I think they classify the 8g ones as mediums)
Call me wasteful, but I'm not taking ANY chances of over-taxing and bursting one of those little buggers. :) They'll make more....and not crazy expensive. Got 3 left over for the Pawn, might just use 2 in that one once it's done in the box. Overkill security on this first one is fine by me. ;)

Medi: Didn't know calibration was an option for these little guys, just know that their levels were matching my larger grow cab one that shows the temps and highs/lows as well.

Thanks, Again for the slaps, guys (and gals)

From what I have read and/or saw on youtube is that if you use more than needed, they just sit there in suspended animation. I don't think they have gone bad until they are dry and hard. So you can use more for insurance and then reuse the same ones when no longer needed on their current assignment.

The way I was going to do mine was to put it in a ziploc bag with a bottle cap 3/4 full with salt and a bit of distilled water to make it a goop consistency, and wait 12 hours. It should read 75%, if it doesn't just write down how off your hygrometer is and adjust in your head when you read it. If yours matches the other it seems unlikely they'd both be exactly the same off from calibrated so you're fine I'd think.

I may just do that test anyway :)

When you say a bit of distilled water, do you mean in the cap with the NaCl? And what do you mean by good consistency? Like a pasty solution? I wonder if I could do this in a small tupperware container with a good lid instead?
